I don't know, the Flying Machines Engineers make don't look so primitive to me. And all those planes littered about Gnomeregan hardly appear to run on *steam power*. Heck, even the Mechano Striders the Gnomes like to ride around on seem to run on gasoline or some other fuel source that emits black exhaust clouds. I guess I just don't see the problem with motorcycles given the amount of other tech lying about around the world.

Mechanostriders are a great example, they appear to be driven by the same internal combustion engine technology as the motorcycles. I'm wondering how one can accept one form of technology and not another, I rather suspect it merely comes down to personal preference and formulating a reason for why the disliked item should not be in their game.

The motorcycles arrived around the same time that Ulduar opened up. That tech clearly made it's way into the larger population from the expedition teams inside Ulduar.

In so far as other tech seeming primitive and the bikes not, have you ridden one? They are easily on-par with other in-game tech and even a bit clunkier than some.

Oh! That would be fun to get into the beta!
I would explore for a while and as I am running around make sure to look for any new/changed pets. Check my stable and see if I have any new slots. I would prolly go make a goblin and a worgen and level them out of the starting zone to see both new sides. Try to see how much change went on with hunters and energy, and then go tame and try out all the new pets! Of course I would post on any neat things I found while trying the new stuff out.

Yes ,absolutely flying on the back of a Dragon belongs. The Dragons and their aspects are a major part of the lore so them allowing us to use the young Drakes as mounts is perfectly within reason. Steam powered vehicles are on the edge, but choppers and cars are going too far.

I would spaz out if I got a Beta invite. XD I'd explore everything and try Beast Lore on every single beast that's currently untameable. :P Then I would make Worgen hunters and druids and play around with em. ^^ *can't wait to see the Worgen druid forms*

True enough, and we have had the races in Shimmering Flats since Vanilla WoW. I just don't like the Choppers. It might have something to do with the fact that I hate them in RL as well.

yea id just do new content and save the changes to the old until its relkeased that would not only make your work easier but also make the beta more fun

Well, this may help for those who want to get a Beta Invite. Go to your Battle.net Account and on your Account Management Home Page look for the Beta Profile Settings. Click it and check what Beta tests you're interested in participating in.

I love my chopper. I use that mount 90% of the time. The other 10% is my headless horseman mount or one of my mammoths.

For original subject I would explore the land as much as I could. I'm curios to know how there gonna enable flying in old world. what's to stop the horde or alliance from drooping down on there flying mounts and laying waste to each others cities. Wouldn't that just be a site to see.

Let's just hope it isn't the same system they used in Outland. No matter how high up I was I'd be dismounted by the flying guards, even when I'm not even near their town.

Actually, I take it back, cars probably would suck. Freakin Dune Buggies are the way to go

Although I'm really excited to experience the higher level content, I'm most looking forward to seeing what it's like to play as a Worgen or Goblin in their respective starting zones.

I probably would be interested to see how Azeroth has changed from a level 80 perspective too, but I'm a slow leveller so I'd probably miss out on a lot.

I'd make an Undead hunter, Human hunter...okay test out all of the new hunter races! Okay might test out the druids first and see is Teldrassil the starting area for a Night Elf mage.

...And lots of other things. At first I'd faint thought.
