A lot of legendaries arent really that tough, most people who use them do so because they lack the drive to actually get to know thier pokemons strengths and weakness' so they just use ubers to win. I love my Team, they can take out legendaries without breaking a sweat. Charizard, Sceptile, Flygon, Gyarados, Luxray and Tyranitar. they are designed to function in single and double battles, and have ~14 different move types for flexability.

though I do find it very impressive that Kangaskhan beat Giratina, what move set does it have?

Kangaskhan has an ability called Scrappy, which let's her hit ghost types with normal and fighting moves. Mine knows Fake Out, Return, Earthquake, and Sucker Punch. She's ev trained in attack and speed with an adamant nature and silk scarf item to power up her normal type moves.

I would expect your team to take out legendaries, as you have a lot of fast pokemon with high attack/special attack.

Most uber teams I do fight online don't ev train or even give them TM moves. I've only fought against one Giratina that was trained and made to be the tank he should be, not a shadow force spamming noob. =P

I've yet to sit down and EV train up some legendaries, although I love the looks of many of them, the amount of people on PBR who refuse to fight against anyone with Ubers on thier team ruins it for me. I love to chellange Ubers and see how much skill I have, especially if the person using the ubers is also skilled.

yeah, my play style is very weak on the defense stats...I am more for hit them hard and fast and takem out, rather then any longterm fights with high defensive pokemon. I tried to make a wall pokemon once, but I didnt get the results I was looking for. my next team that I am working on will have a bit more veriety in the stat department, as well as consist of some unusual or not often used pokemon.

Hmmm I'll have to look into Pokemon Indago then.

I'm a fan of old-school Pokemon. That is to say, I loved Red/Blue/Yellow and I was very fond of Gold/Silver. After that, I think they've just been playing off the franchise's popularity. The pokemon keep getting uglier and uglier and resemble animals less and less and sculptures more and more.

I picked up a used copy of Sapphire over winter break at my room-mate's encouragement. It's okay, and I do enjoy some of the new pokemon in that one, but more and more of them are just so...unlikeable.

i agree. when pokemon first came out it was awesome and i was a fan but i quit messing with it after emerald. now if i had a DS i might try some of the newer stuff but it just doesn't seem interesting anymore.

Black and White news!:

There will be 156 total new pokemon

153 available via normal gameplay, 3 available from events

#633-635 will be a Dark/Dragon type evolution chain (may be the 5th gen's Pseudo-legendary!)

There now appears to be a Fighting Legendary Trio, a Steel/Fighting, a Rock/Fighting and a Grass/Fighting. This is the first time a legendary pokemon with the Fighting type has appeared. They are numbered #638-640

#641 is a PURE FLYING TYPE legendary...the first pure flyer EVER

#642 is an Elctric/Flying legendary

Reshiram (Dragon/Fire) is #643

Zekrom is (Dragon/Electric) #644

#645 is a Ground/Flying Legendary

#646 is a Dragon/Ice legendary

#647 is a Water/Fighting event legendary

#648 is a Normal/Psychic event Legendary

#649 is a Bug/Steel event legendary. This is the first EVER legendary Bug.

Looks like Poison is the only non-legendary type now.

hmmm actually wonder if it will be Kibago and its final as Ononokusu. It looks dragon/dark to me...then again it could be something completely new.
Thats quite the list of legendaries for one game...I hope they are very epic looking!
