Update on Lupos!

So. After the new patch, I'm going through my stables, when I notice Trickery. Trickery is my Lupos, who was a brown coyote. Well, I have good news and bad news. Good news? Back to his old, white worg skin. Bad news? It means coyote wasn't placeholder or anything, Blizz must've just been silly....

From what I understand...no one has even found Timber yet

No idea. Last time I was aware, Timber was gone, his new area invaded by Mekkatorque and Crushcog. The mobs around them also had a level drop. (Like, 2-3s.) I'm thinking Timber is gone.

Was it Death Howl that also became a coyote?

Might've been. I have no idea where Death Howl is, so someone else would have to check him. I'm holding onto Lupos in case they do something else to him.

Not necessarily. They're messing big time with the game code, so they might have inadvertently changed him and just decided to fix it on the pet pass. It's good news that he's back to his good ol' self.

i mean what happened to a tamed timber?

Far as I know, tamed Timber stays Timber. Can that be confirmed, though?

It probably will. If they remove the mob from the game, they'll either retire his id or re-id tamed Timbers to another mob with the same look.

I hope they keep Lupos the way he was before any changes. I'm going to go back for Timber before Cata hits unless he's found and is the same as he was.

Regarding Timber, beta testers could request for him to have him level changed and wandering around in a different part of the zone. Couldn't hurt!
