So, my Tame Beast is 8sec in BM with no buffs, a haste pot dropped it to 7.2, yet I still could not get The Beast solo. I still needed more haste, so I got another Core Hound.................and used its blood lust.............to tame The Beast.......which is another Core Hound.................

Side Note: I popped AH and a haste pot to do that tame (not sure why) but my cast bar was something like 11.4 sec cast, Im thinking "whoa, did I miss something?" at half way through the cast bar I stopped casting (I didnt move) and Im like "NOOOOOO" but right after screaming that The Beast shrunk and was growling at me (feed-o-matic) woot I got my Beast, not sure why the cast bar did that tho..........

Kinda sounds like the bar bugged out but thats pretty interesting.. BM has a talent that drops the taming cast? Awesome..

Yah, because the bar read 11.4 and it stopped about half way I'm thinking it stopped at 6sec but the actual cast time was less than that, so I think it doubled the cast time and stopped at 6sec...maybe?

Yeah, that's a bug alright. That's awesome though, that you got it with a corehound bloodlust.

Lovcat, I think it's just a general statement about spec/gear, his base haste on gear probably brought it down to 8 sec.

At 83 I managed to tame it just after he kicked with an 8 second tame - no potions or other abilities used.
Maybe I was lucky!

It's cool tho.. I then went and grabbed The Kurken and Uvuros (would have got Braxxus but after getting one set of 35 shards, I got some Pit Lord instead).
