Out of curiosity, I checked old NPCs from Eversong Woods and a few other areas on the database (Still no alpha, rip). All of the old models are untouched, including all lynxes and dragonhawks from every zone. Hopefully this is intended, because the new models should indeed be limited to the new zones while older zones that are very clearly kept for legacy purposes should keep their legacy models.
Some incredibly cool creatures there. Looks like the crawg thing is like some mudskipper-plant hybrid. The ankylosaurs look incredibly cool, like a cross between an alligator snapping turtle and an armoredon. A closer look at the roothorns (I’m not calling them by their original name), the new worms look more serpentine so they’re probably plant snakes. And I’m in love with the new toad colors, they have different patterns which make them stand out more from each other, we need more variants like that in general, and a simple capybara hunter pet would also be great
A lot of really cool new beasts. It isn’t everything, since there are some things, like the Void Carapids and Worms, that weren’t posted. The glowing pangolin is very good, though I’m guessing that it is tied to the Loa - is a Loa. The plant snakes are very interesting (they might be the Grove Crawlers), as are the Bloom Rhinos.
The Lynx is probably my least favorite (always has been). I don't see the Axolotls being tamable unless the model posing is changed, since it is designed to only be seen in water. The Whiptails are great, and I'm glad that my guess back during Gamescon about them being a new family was correct. The Snap Lizards look good and don't seem to suffer from the same problem of the DF Thunder Lizards. I don't see the Loa models becoming tamable, and possibly not the Plant Pangolin.
Wow I’m just speechless, they all look great, many white creatures go hard, white hawkstrider and white pangolin are up my alley. The nameless plant creature/plant pangolin thing is probably the gorilla one we talked about earlier, I really want one. The harronir wolverine/two tailed cats look really cool, and I never thought I would see fire and fel tinted mana wyrms, they look amazing. They are faithful to the mana wyrm in the tbc cinematic, but a lot larger. Hopefully grove crawlers are given to the bloom serpents, and the bloom rhinos should have a proper name, I still love roothorn
Oh no. I'm gonna be purging my stables all day today and STILL probably not have enough room. BLIZZARD, WE NEED MORE STABLE SLOTS AGAAAAAAAAAIN!
EDIT: Hopefully we can tame the toad crawgs, including the skipper form. Would love to have both out at the same time, much like how you could do that with Teroclaws and their flightless variants.
The crawg toad looks more like a mutated plant mudskipper, hence those weird fishy eyes. The petalwing birds look pretty cool, like somnowls but plant instead of Druidic. The new eagles look cool with their realistic schemes, but they are too standard for me to tame one, I like birds that really stand out. I’m also planning a purge on pets I don’t think I would need as we’re getting some better versions. Also, roothorns better be scalehides and not clefthooves, that’s my main concern
Opposite for me; I hope they're clefthooves so I can finally stable Nakk the Thunderer lol. Need a new clefthoof. I can see them being lumped with scalehides though, since it looks reptilian.
I also never expected the giant snapping lizards, their aesthetic looks great, the moss on the back is the cherry on top to remind how cool snapping turtles are. They look like they’ll use the same exact animations as roothorns. I hope they also update the thunder lizards and armoredons to have the same animations as them, anyway the base for the new animations is the Armoredon keystone master mounts. Another unexpected thing was whiptails and those two tailed haranir cats being two separate creatures since they both use the same skeleton. I saw another video, a video about a eversong revamp comparison, and i swear I saw a pink dreamrunner in the video
Sooo many nice ones! and I do see several that might replace my weary clefthoofs. I so want a new critter to take on the big bads out there when solo adventuring. I love the flora-Rhinos. *fingers crossed* please make them tameable blizz! Thanks for posting the pics Valnaaros !

You're welcome, Talihawk!
@Worgpower As for the Pink Dreamrunner, I don't know if it is actually pink or if it is just the lighting. I know which video you're talking about, and I saw the same thing, but with the distance and lighting, it is hard to say.
MrGM was browsing the files, and there were a lot of beasts we haven't seen yet. He moved way too fast through the files so it wasn't easy to catch a proper screenshot of anything interesting we haven't seen. Two things that stood out; unarmored version of the light dragonhawk and the void/light bird mount.
This expansion is looking good so far! Hope slightly renewed. The Haronir customization is looking super awesome. Def going to be adding yet another hunter to the pack.

Yes, the Light Dragonhawk I saw in the intro for the xpac. I posted about the Void/Light Phoenix earlier.
Yeah no, I don't see anything about the unarmored light dragonhawk or mixed phoenix posted since the alpha started. You only posted the separate light and dark phoenix, not the one that's got both like the mount. Maybe you forgot to post them, because there's nothing of the sort in this thread at least. I really need to learn how to use wowtools.

Yeah, I did. Near the end of page five I mentioned that there are Light-infused Dragonhawks and commented about hopefully there being one that is tamable.
If we're talking about this mount here, I posted it on the last page.
