I love that lil cat...mine has been very dear to me since I've tamed it.

The "vomit" hehe in my mind at least, is an intense cold that flows from his fangs and it to me at least, represents his limitless power that is inside of him...a power that flows through the openings of his body as he trys to contain it.

Arcaneius, (my Loque) has a personality all of his own and seems to be a powerful and deadly ally and when I hear his echoing roar of power it only reminds me of this even more. His roar is really nice to me...and when I hear it come from his small body I think of the thought of the beings im fighting going; O.O' "WTF is that..."

heheh! but im just silly maybe

I am glad you like Gondria...she is awesome too! I love all the spirit beasts and if that is your favorite then forget what everyone else says and enjoy Your pet. You tamed it, you fight alongside it and it should only matter to you.

<3 ^.^
The shadows are my ally...and so is that large wolf behind you.

Yeah, that's pretty much my thoughts as well. He's an ethereal being only taking an earthly form, and it seems as though his soul hardly fits within a mortal shell. ;) Something along those lines...that's what I think of it. ^^

I don't even really need to post here. All the reasons I like Loque have already been listed! :D
The biggest thing for me is that he is different. He doesn't look like an normal cat. His 'spots' aren't something you'd find naturally on any other animal, anywhere. His roar is amazing! And I like the color blue...
I've never seen the appeal of see-through pets. I've never really like them, so Gondria, Arcturis, and the Ghost Saber never really caught my attention. Skoll, I love his concept, but I hate the Northrend wolves, so I don't want him either.
It's all a matter of personal taste. If you like Gondria, you like Gondria. If you like Loque, you like Loque. 'Nuff said. /shrug

And, on the matter of pronounciation, when I'm actually tryign to say his name, I say it the same way you do Veph. 'Loke-nah-hack'.
But, when I think it, that's a whole other story. I tend to add letters to weird names in my head. Loque'Nahak becomes 'Loke-lah-nak' in my noggen. /sage nod

Well, you've rationalized the vomiting pretty good. And yes, I can certainly see the allure of a unique model. I just find this one incredibly ugly. But that's a whole other rant.

PERSONALLY, I think Gondria is a lazy model reskin and is just plain ugly and boring. Do I think people are stupid for liking it? No, I just don't like it myself. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, right?

I love Loque- the skin is very unique, he was the 'original' Spirit Beast, I like his roar, and I like the glow, the way he moves, and his appearance in general.

ALL a matter of personal preference.

Beauty is subjective. I have Loque, I like it. Personally I would still love to see Gondria padding around in the wild someday (I haven't seen it yet). It's just one of those pretty & exciting things you come across in this game, who can hate that?

Reading about the dorf that acted like Loque is the only spirit beast made me remember http://notalwaysright.com/de-ting-de-ting/308

Infact it made me think about that lol

But to answer your question, I love Loque on Ryai even tho I hate small pets. It's not just because he's a spirit beast or a cat, but because he's so .. idk.

And he shoots lasers.

From his eyes.

It's kinda like asking why do people who love spiders, love spiders? Or vultures? Or other creatures we normally detest or shun or dislike or don't spare a second thought about. It's not something you can easily explain, outside of Well they love the creature and or model.

Sides I have both Loque and Gondria on my Belf.

I fear and dread ever stumbling across Skoll cause I know my Devilsaur or my gold worm Sunscale will get abandond :| I love the wolf too.

For my pronunciation, I say "Loh-KWAY-na-HAWK". It's going to be tough when I get to that level because my stable is filled with animals I love. :( I want to at least try a spirit beast. I need to see how they move and sound. For example, if I hadn't tamed that Silithid, how would I know how much their bouncing amuses me?

I meant to ask- do all Spirit Beasts act the same, like all the cats do, or does each one have its own animations/sounds?
Please don't kill me, I'm trying to love you

I'll admit that him being the most well-known at the time, I wanted him, but I never went out of my way to get him. Since that point, patches have come & gone & Arcturis is actually my favorite out of all the spirit beasts. Go figure my favorite happens to be the one generally most tell others that they would let him go out of the four.

Just don't pay that hunter any attention; it's pure opinions & we're all entitled to them. If blizzard was smart, they realize they truly messed up on Gondria & make his skin the Celestial type. That would be

Loque has his own roars. His animations are technically 'unique' since his skin/model is, but mostly it's just tweaked cat animations.

I believe Gondria, Skoll and the bear whose name I can never spell all share animations with their related families (cat, wolf, bear). I don't think they have their own roars though.

I say LOKE-nah-heek. It's nothing like how it looks, but I've always pronounced it with the heek (rhymes with peek.).
