Yep, it's all in self-preservation. I'm really tired of right clicking that windrider guy only to get a face full of angry teeth, claws and scorpion stings. :D I do color coding now, but with tabards and shirts(and some pets), because I tend to play with tunnel vision equipped. I think I may have stopped seeing my character on the screen.

@Xakaal

It's not too late! Surely these files must be in the annals of Blizzard's computer system, and maybe they can right a past wrong! /crosses fingers

Id go jelly all over again for worgen if they changed it @_@

Im really hoping MoP comes out at the end of summer, all the new stuff that's been released to the files but not live for me to screw around on has killed my desire for WoW lately, its making me go crazy! Im running out of side-quests in skyrim to keep me busy and its only mid-june D: My panda priest is getting more and more smexy everytime blizz does something to them xD! Cannot waaaaaait!!

Back on track, I think I might paint my horde and alliance pandas in respective colors. :D That way when I see a visual marker (red and blue) I can remember which flight patch to click and which to dodge that swarm of angry griffins with.
Oh, what I wouldn't give to have the old worgen females from that video :(

So right now you can customize overall hair colour (brown, grey, black), streak colour, and earrings?

Just curious since I'm too lazy to download the Beta client to try it out

(I do think I'm switching my hunter to a panda next expansion though)

The streak color is broken, because the UI manning it is broken. So, you get default red streaks.

Super excited about the hair! I plan on making my Blood Elf hunter a Panda shortly after launch. :) They are just too cute!

The current female worgen are bad, but I think the original ones were even worse. Blizzard should just redo them from the ground up, but I doubt that'll ever happen.

Anyways, to stay on topic. There's currently no hair streak button on the beta creation screen, but you get a randomly generated colour when you go to make a female pandaren, so if you want to see how a specific colour looks just keep selecting a female pandaren then go back and repeat until you get the colour you want.

Already created female pandaren seem to have red, but if you're making a brand new character it will randomly give you a colour each time you go through the selection process.

Hopefully for those who dont want the 'pop' it will be relocated into its own 'addition' style like earrings are :3 Right now its probably stuck on all the hair styles cause they havent implemented it yet and also want to see how people react to the colors (i sooo hope they stay and its not a trial and error test)

I like the hair streaks, I really do, even if they look out of place sometimes. But they *really* should be optional. A lot of people aren't going to like this addition and would be a lot happier if it were optional. Blizzard seem to have a weird way of thinking. I don't know how they can add something in so out-of-place like this and instantly expect everyone to like it. I like it, but I don't think I'd want coloured streaks in my pandaren's hair all the time... It's cute, it's really cute, but she went from looking oriental to, well, like a punk rocker.

If they end up not being optional, my monk may be able to get away with the red-panda hair and a red streak, it's just not ideal. :<

My Pandaren hunter will probably try for a pink streak.

The white streaks might look nice with the red pandas, it's quite a neutral colour, and looks natural. Even the red pandaren have white markings. (I know still not ideal, but it's a thought)

I get the impression, however, that Blizzard are now also trying to appeal to the female side of WoW. As in, they've realised the mass amount of females there are playing the game and have probably done their research into what this gender of gamers likes. I for one know a bunch of female WoW players that love unnatural hair dye, including myself. I think it'll really appeal well to a whole bunch of females. I don't know if this is their actual intention or anything, but if it is, good for you, Blizz, good for you. (:

I do like unnatural hair dye, the bright colours on the pandaren just seem out of place. Just my personal preference though. Female goblins would be fantastic with coloured streaks, trolls and orcs too. I would love to have purple streaks for Veph. :3

I don't mind the different colors, but they're too bright and saturated. I'd prefer them more subdued.
