I was thrilled to learn that the hair streaks were intentional. The untextured white chunks that were in beta for a while actually looked really good, and I loved the idea of black/white hair streaks to complement the fur.

The neon colours though. They're like...scene pandas. It just seems so out of place both visually and culturally.

I'm glad the white streaks are there though, I fully intend to use them.

Agreed; I'd like some more natural-looking options, just because the others are a bit of a culture shock....but who'm I kidding? I fully intend to use the bright ones whether they make sense or not.

I love the shade of purple that they used (it's my favourite purple), just not sure if I want that on a panda.

I would love if they added this to other races. :3

I would like to see more neutral colors available, but I will definitely use the bright ones. My little panda mage who I am already creating mog outfits for will be a colorful gal and I think she will love the bright red and orange. Its a bit modern and jarring, true, but, it will be fun

I'm very likely to use the red streaks on a black and white panda, myself. I've always adored the combination of red, black and white. I doubt I'll use any streaks at all on a red panda, though. Perhaps white. I'll have to see. Not too fond of the earrings... I think they're a bit too... bulky? They look oversized and plastic to me. Still, more options are always good!

I like a few of the earrings, but there's always the option of none, so the choice is there.

I'm just still anxious about my favourite ponytail style that hasn't reappeared yet. Crossing my fingers they just intend to use it for barber shops only, but even then I'll be a little sad since my pandaren won't be able to look like herself until she's out of the starting zone.

I hope the highlights are an optional choice, on my "main" server panda monk I dont want a punk look, but would defiitly take a blue streak on an alt, probably on my RP monk.

I know Veph, my fav hair style is missing from the Creation screen to...I really REALLY hope it gets re-added or brought to the barber shop, it really outshawn any of the other hair style options

Every hairstyle has the streaks that I've seen, so they won't be optional, but if you have a black pandaren you could choose the black streak which makes it invisible pretty much.

Here's my favourite hairstyle. I still have my first pandaren on beta, and I don't want to delete her because she has it. Looks like she got the red streaks by default.

They're fine, really. I'd use them on a panda or two. I just know my monk in particular wouldn't use one. And she also can't go the black on black route, because I planned to have reddish hair color.
It's just... it's ruining my plans! Don't throw curveballs like this, Blizzard!
Maybe they'll re-implement the non-streaked textures as an option before release, because I've seen enough people out there who feel the same way as I do (I don't mean those other ones who are vehemently against it because they hate COLORS!!11, just those who would rather to have every possible option, and not to get forced one way or the other).

Ditto on missing hairstyles, though. I liked the chinese buns with very short hair and the row of flowers on the top of the head, but now there only seems to be the chinese buns with shoulder length hair option...

Yeah, I was concerned about the hairstyles too, cause my beta girl has the bean bun hairstyle with the flower clips and between the weird green chunks that appeared the last patch, and the lack of a barber shop, I was slightly paranoid about her going forever. I'm cool now though. And really, I thought you'd be all into those purple streaks!

Thats the Same hair style my monk has Veph, though I went with a Red panda...Guess I should go take a look and see what she ended up with for streak.

**edit* Yeah, its default red, which isnt that bad on the red hair. (also the turtle mount animation, OMG, LOL. It hides in its shell!!!!)

Hee, I do love the purple, and I might try it on an alt perhaps, but overall I don't think I'm liking the look of the bright colours with the pandaren. I'll probably stick to the white streaks since that's what I was hoping we'd get.

Back on track, I think I might paint my horde and alliance pandas in respective colors. That way when I see a visual marker (red and blue) I can remember which flight patch to click and which to dodge that swarm of angry griffins with.
