It's the muscles, Bullet. Their upper bodies are far too large. It doesn't help that they have more polygons than most races. -.-

POLYGON JEALOUSY! GAH!

EDIT: Teigan said it better than I could. :P Faster too.

I think they're awesome looking. I've seen the centaur style of humanoids used quite often so it doesn't really look odd to me. Plus we already had similar physiology with the Obsidian Destroyers from AQ so it seems suiting. The bulkiness doesn't bother me in the least.

I wouldn't go that far.. Tigers, while being an ambush predator, are still massive creatures and quite on par with Lions in sheer bulk.

I don't think there is much basis on reality with them, but I'm ok with that. Ligers never stop growing due to an abnormality in their gene code and are often very bulky, yet they were an unnatural creation due to man's cross breeding. But I think the tiger people in ZA and stuff are fairly muscular too. Either way I'm happy to see enemies that aren't ogres or.....worse hobgoblins.

That is so unfair. Why do they keep on adding in centaur-like races when we are not able to make one. It understand it would be kind of weird having to figure out how to get them to ride a mount but i am a major fan of centaurs and really wish i could find a game with one as a playable race.

These guys have a really cool running animation and i wish i could play as one. Here is a video of some like this but with wings. I'm sure they will have the same animations as these.

Also:
I did not notice that particular feature that you pointed out but i did notice the very long toe on the back right foot.

Noticed that as well. It seemed very odd and I wondered if it was just a bit of odd lighting or something in the screenshot, but it's definitely an elongated toe for some reason.

If you check out the second video I linked, you can see that it is the model itself, not the lighting. Maybe it just something that they need to go back and fix because the winged model from the first video i linked does not seem to have that problem.

It's probably just a bit of a model glitch. I'm sure it'll get fixed.

But, wow! They look so different! I've never seen a creation quite like these guys, so it feels so alien to watch their movements for some reason. The beauty of creativity, eh? The skins are quite nice, too. I love the jaguar look.

Hm, they have a different skeleton than the current Obsidian Destroyers. More thick and squat, it seems?

I kind of like the Destroyer's proportions better.
