More of the Titans' creations that fell to the Curse of the Flesh it looks like. *Remember the Tol'var are described as "stone-like" cat people.*

...Whoa. That was not what I was picturing them to look like! When I heard "A race of stone-like cat people", I imagined... well, animate chunks of stone shaped like cats.

And I can't imagine how difficult it must be to do crunches with a body shaped like that, because by the looks of it, they do a whole lot of them. Along with daily servings of steroids. Granted, we're talking about a race of centaur-like cat people, but sheesh Blizzard can't we have at least some races with realistic amounts of muscle?

I know, I know, it sounds ridiculous. I'm just wondering why nearly every race's male resembles a massive body builder. I just picture cats to be a bit more lithe rather than muscular, though I do suppose they could be both... just not with quite the amount of muscle these guys have. But don't get me wrong, I do think they are quite a cool race!

Thekal in cat form is also super muscley. SO perhaps these are more "tiger" than they are "cat".

Nope. They lost a war to the (Undead) Nerubians and were transformed by them.

http://www.wowwiki.com/Tol%27vir
The Tol'vir are a race of "stone-like cat people" created by the titans[1] that originate and dwell in the zones of Uldum. They were created to maintain titan repositories and machinery. There was once another society of tol'vir in Northrend, but they were overthrown by the Nerubians and transformed into Obsidian destroyers. It is possible that some of the original Tol'vir in Northrend still exists deep within the remnants of Azjol-Nerub.[2] The tol'vir in Uldum seem to be somehow connected with Al'Akir and his elemental minions.

This is exactly it! Cat people aren't big and bulky dammit, they're lithe and stealthy and lean.

Doesn't mean I'm not excited to go explore their area, it just sorta tied in with a personal rant I've been building about steroids in the game... Didn't mean to bring down the thread about kitty centaurs!!!

Crazy, that didn't even look like WoW. I honestly did a double take thinking it was from some other game.

Heh yeah. Uldum is probably gonna be my favorite zone. I <3 Old God/Titan Lore, and i LOVE the Egyptian look, and hopefully the gear from this area also reflects that.

The graphics do look lovely, don't they? I can't wait to see the new zones. Judging from the screenshots I've seen, they look positively gorgeous.

I wonder if there are any female models? Most NPC races don't have them, but there are exceptions... take centaur and naga, for example.

The only thing that I can use to tell that it's WoW is the heavily outdated shadow graphics. Seriously, that should be prio one after the water.

I'm surprised so many people don't like them. Granted I think it'd be better if they were the two legged ones, but I'm liking these. Rofl I'd have one as a mount!

Bullet walks up to giant muscle cat thing *Hai! Can I ride you?!
Bulelt wakes up in hospital weeks later.*

Cats, even tigers, are muscular and strong, but lithe. Not steroid-body-builder muscular. Those "cat-taurs" looks off balance, like those over-muscled torsos are going to pull them flat over on their faces.
