Dear Santa, all I want for Christmas is roughly 15ish miles of cat5 ethernet cable, a plethora of rj45 jacks, some cable clamps and networking equipment!

You should be glad to be playing the game at all, really. Sorry, but that's just how it is. With such an incredible majority, Blizz can't really make sure that dialup users can play properly, since gamers using dialup is more like one in a million. I'm just saying, Blizz shouldn't have to tailor specifically for people using a connection most stopped using years ago. Sorry, but that's just how it is.

Have you checked if there's a company that sells 3G modems? You could buy a SIM-card from a company with "unlimited internet", I mean, like, fast service up to 3 gigabytes, and then they limit your speed to 120kbps or something. That's how it is in Sweden, and I've played that way. Even if I didn't find it satisfactory, I'm certain it's way better than dialup.
All broadband is not created equal, just sayin'.

Broadband =/= Dialup. For a good experience, I recommend at least 500kb/s, but I've seen people playing with as little as 200.

I also exist on DeviantArt.

Regarding the thread title, Blizzard did learn something from Dalaran. You say Orgrimmar is busy? Now imagine we had a new neutral hub, when not only Hordies would be all in one place, but Allies as well.

I still argue no they didn't because Orgrimmar is opened up so we can get a whole shit-load of low levels there too. When Dalaran was up a low level MIGHT have their hearth set there to use the portals nothing else really but they sure as hell wouldn't AFK in Dal. So now in Orgrimmar we got a shit ton of low level afkers coupled with the fact that you have to go there to travel to other continents AND the use of the auction house. So no they didn't learn anything it's still roughly the same amount of people cramped into the same amount of space.

This whole expansion is situated in the old world, so any new neutral capital would be in the old world as well - making low levels go there too. So it would be still in the end twice the amount of people you have now in Orgrimmar.

What was the other option anyway? New hubs had to be faction-specific, and in the old world, so what should they have done? Create new cities? Lowbies would still go there, so it won't change the situation any more than just the place.

I think the only other option would be to add the portals + zeppelins to all other cities (i.e. Thunder Bluff, Darnassus etc).

It probably would have helped to allow flying in Silvermoon and Exodar at least; they're even more off-putting now that you have to ground-mount about >.>

I don't mind Org as-is though, what with the several hubs-within-a-hub design!

How slow of a connection do you have that this causes you to dc ? If your connection cant even handle this then how do you raid or do dungeons ?? Even on my laptop when I lower alot of my settings down I can get 15 fps in the trade district in SW and It only has a Ati Radeon 4200 with shared memory.

28.8kbps or if I'm lucky 31.2kbps
Don't any of the Internet providers have Rural Internet options ? I know in canada we have several options to pick from.

Probably not, depending on his ISP. The internet companies tend to own the lines that run. It's one of the great downsides of privatized internet. :/ Once an ISP owns all the lines, its competitors can't use them at all.

The rural Internet we have here is wireless. If Moore could give me a list of the ISP'S in the area I could check out there site as I would know what I'm looking for.
