trouble finding skoll

If you can, perhaps if you have a day off or vacation or something, try to look late at night. I got Skoll and Krush both this way... burning of the midnight oil if you will. I never had much luck asking in general chat... most of Storm Peaks is now mostly-afk TLPD campers, so I wasn't expecting much.

I wouldn't give up, but honestly, I see no reason to not take a break if you need to. I can't do extended long camps without going insane. I got Skoll on my second camp in Storm Peaks. First time, I was out there consistently for about a week. And then I said, screw it, I want to level and play and have fun elsewhere. So I left for some questing/farming back in cata lands and eventually made my way back to Storm Peaks and found him I believe on the second night. Even if you don't take your hunter out of the peaks, you can always play another character and check back every now and then. Don't make the game NOT FUN by staring at a patch of snow for 3-4 weeks if it's starting to get to you.

I agree. Never give up. I'm a girl that can camp for long periods of time without going insane. (Guess I earned my Patient title, huh? XD)

I liked that part the best. I camped endlessly for TLPD once just because I HAD to have him.... which turned the game not fun, but what I found much funner while camping him, was having the computer on, but doing other things in the background, watch tv, play with kids when they were awake, etc.

So... I have been hunting Skoll for what seems like forever with no luck. No sightings...nothing. Decided to come here and read while camping a spawn point. Started reading this thread because obviously I am having trouble finding Skoll. Finally go back into the game and there he is at the disk by the village. Started taming him and now he's mine! So yay! guess I can start leveling now (still 80). Of course now I'm thinking I want Loque now too... So we'll see.

Nah, it's just the three. Two of them don't have eyewitness accounts from forum members, as far as I know.

While camping for TLPD I have killed Skoll a total of 7 times in those 2 spots up north by the Cave. So Skoll does spawn there frequently.

Mainly the west one between the pine tree and the cave.

I found mine there long ago, and I still see him there and at Bor's Breath, those are the two hot spots I've noticed.

*nod* Those are two of the confirmed ones. I've never once seen him at the eastern point in the north or the western point in the south.

I have seen him by the Frozen Lake at Bor's Breath, at the gear above Brunhildar, and by the cave near the wurms and the iron giant above Valkyrion. Gear seems to be the most common however.
