Pets you carry and why? Plz spread the word "ingame"

My current pet roster is limited to:

1. Spider, my spirit beast. (85)
2. Torque, my boar. (82)
3. Atramedes, my amusingly named moth. (85)

I'm a pretty bad player in that I don't really bother bringing buffs anyone might need - PuG makeups are completely random, so I usually have Atra out. If I'm running with a lower-level group or doing a harder fight, Spider goes out for off-heals + buff. Torque is an emergency pet as much as I love him, and he wound up tanking half of Throne of the Tides after our 40k hp tank bit the dust time and time again(Atra ended up tanking the other half because I didn't get a chance to switch him out).

The other two pet slots are open for whatever I feel like taming, or sometimes Vhelix, my corehound, but I can't say I use him often. I used to run with my Duskfang, Vitriol, but he was shoved aside after hitting 85 for Spider and Atra because, frankly, Veeka is not a cat person in the least. The pet I run the most with is often my "RP" pet as well, and I'm having a hard enough time making up an excuse for Karoma even if Veeka -loves- canines. I don't want to have to explain a cat. :P

(As a side note, I really need to get a proper name for my moth. I don't think a raid boss name will go over well on Moon Guard. :P )

I always carry:
Cat
Wolf
Turtle

Other two is usually random or nothing (if I'm pet hunting). Random includes Fox and Raptor usually but I might start doing Dragonhawk for the magic bonus w/ SV... Just wish those Dragonhawks were Ferocity instead of Cunning.
