It's about interrupting them when they start casting Barrage; most easily done by being MM spec with silencing shot or having a friend nearby on silence duty.

Or by having a lot of haste! Which can be easily done by running through the wind near the ledges close by.

I've seen them get tamed without interrupts so interrupting them isnt always needed(but does make it easier). I've seen several tames done without haste buffs or the interrupt. It was just about the timing. Granted they died the first few times but after about 15 minutes, they got him.

On the crabs page, it would be nice if the color changing crab model from the Darkmoon Faire could be changed to its own "untamable" section like all the other pets have. The ghost wolf on the regular wolves page needs to do the same thing as well. This would make it easier for doing my rolls for the Pet Challenges as well as for newcomers to the site.

Just discovered this while trying to farm myself a Scarlet Tabard.

The Brownfeather Hawks in WPL appear to finally be tamable. I didn't actually tame one (I didn't want one on the alt I was on XD) but Beast Lore has them marked as tamable. Of note; the ones closest to Chillwind fly too high to target, but there are some flying close to the ground near the Bulwark (amongst the black zombears) that can be both BL targeted, and presumably tamed.

I can safely confirm that these brown hawks are indeed tameable on Live, at least the ones on the ground with the bears. For interest I threw in a screenshot of a group near to Chillwind for an idea as to how high they are.

The Ghost Wolf skin on the Wolves page is listed under "Wolves", rather than "Wolves That Can't Be Tamed." I assume it should be under the latter, since none of the actual wolves using the Ghost Wolf skin are tameable, and since Karoma is already listed under "Other Beasts With Similar Looks."

Edit--I see this has been noted earlier by TygerDarkstorm, but I guess it's been missed >.<

I'd also say that Banthalos should be added to the "similar looks" category of Birds of Prey, unless I somehow missed him there

This isn't a correction as such, more of a suggestion, but I personally would like to see a Mists of Pandaria 'possible pets' page, perhaps listed near the top. It could have all the pictures of the current mobs which people are questioning currently whether or not they might be tameable. It's just that, with all the different threads, it's easy to miss some cool looking stuff, so if the front page were to update with all these models and add a note saying something along the lines of, "It is not yet known which of these models will be tameable." that might help people find what they're looking for.

Sadly it doesn't look like Mania is around anymore to make updates like this, perhaps someone could do it instead of her? :/

The only problem I see with that idea is that since we don't know if any of the new models will be pets for sure, it will lead a lot of people here creating a ton of new threads asking about these models and their tamability. I personally think they should wait to add any new pets to the Petopian website until after they've been confirmed tamable. Just my two cents.

Hrm good point. It's just I like being able to see all potential pets in one place so I can decide properly on which ones I might want to get. ^^

Aye, it is nice to have things gathered in one collective location, I just wouldn't want to create too much confusion for people in case some of the models don't become tamable. I'm sure Wain or somebody can get some sort of solution worked out.

Each model could easily have a tag under it saying whether it's tameable (in beta) or not and it's updated when a new tame is confirmed.

Mania isn't around enough to keep up with that and she has like 3 other sites to run and get ready for Beta. Doing that would be too much work.

Plus people don't read what is there now. ^^; It's unlikely they'll start reading it now. Wain has the untameable list set up. I think we're good with that for now til we know whats what.

Shadra, a tameable spawned spider in the Hinterlands, is not listed among the other spiders. I have a theory that she will make Nerubian attack sounds as a hunter pet, but have not confirmed.

Edit: My mistake, she just has a new model, which IS listed.
