Hey, don’t you remember that we survival hunters can briefly tame stone hounds, it’s just an annoying process to call them out, I’m excited to tame one of them, specifically Barghast

Well that's technically an exploit, and that's usually a no-no thing to talk about on Petopia :p. If you want to be technical though, you can have stone hounds outside of BM through the use of a harmless exploit lol. I personally still dislike gargons because they're as ugly as a sunburnt butt, but they're very unique models if they do get flagged.

Now that alpha is literally out in 3 days, I am praying anyone from petopia, myself included, could test the alpha and show off the new hunter pets and beasts

Hopefully it's someone who's got a lot of time on their hands. Wish I would get picked since I literally work at home and can just play WoW all day, but with a ban on my account from the(ir own screwup in the) past, I highly doubt they'd ever put me in an alpha even if I can nolife it .

I’m crossing my fingers because I want to test a lot more than just hunter pets even though hunter pets are the main thing, I’ll try doing story quests to a minimum, zero endgame content, just testing

Some good looks at some of the new models, including the new hexed eagles (which use the overused roc animations lol) and a VERY STUNNING view of the sporehawk, called a "Spore Glider". We also get an idea of what those fork-tailed cats are called, at least their non-void versions.

Is the cat thing what she referred to as a wolverine when talking about haranir druid forms? Or was that based on a different wild model?

Cat form for druids is on the left in this image. Very different from all the other cats in the deep dive otherwise, and I can see how it's a wolverine. Calling the bear form a pangolin was a bit misleading though, because it looks nothing like a pangolin. Travel form being an otter is hilarious.

Awesome, thanks! That does look kinda similar. Just can't see if the 'wolverine' druid form has a forked tail.

We saw it has a single tail in the original video, as well as in the timestamp I posted earlier from the deep dive. The grim lynx and druid form are two separate models entirely, which is nice. Whole lot of new cats and cat-adjacent things this time around.

Ah ok, thanks! It was hard for me to judge, when the druid forms are so highly modified from the wild forms. I mean, that tank form looks almost nothing like the pangolin now.

Got a good view of the updated blood elf lynx model. God it's perfect. I take back every negative thought I had in regards to the idea that they would be updated, and I fully embrace these new designs. This red cat was my first "I want that" pet that I got on my Draenei hunter ages ago, and this is a perfect, faithful upgrade. As much as I want those sexy sporehawks and those amazing roothorns, the lynx upgrade is by far my favorite thing I've seen today.

Blood Elf starting area, in the new version of Eversong, is basically just a full update without changing much. The older lynx color now looks like this. I still prefer the red one, but it looks good regardless.
