He could be. Has anyone gotten close enough to check?
Wanna set up a 40 man raid for that? XD

On a serious note, Teigs did hit it right on the nose really.

well Taluwen exept for the fact alot of them have small tusks and nearly every ice/forest troll have small to tiny tusks so that takes that idea away.

I don't like the oh-so-typical female stereotype (that they "have to" be "sexual" and huge, unnatural breasts) in games. Wolves (Worgens, duh) and cows (Tauren) with "breasts", good grief! Females in World of Warcraft bug me with their tiny,
no-muscles-at-all arms too. And Blizzard just doesn't care about females like they do about males.
Robot Wars is renewed for 6 episodes! I love some Exotic pets! And I hate spiders for.. "pets"!

Well with worgen they are humans now and not wolf people so that's why they have boobs

Taluwen both those trolls are jungle ones yes they do ahve huge tusks but they and sand are the only ones with big ones. Seems with non abomination trolls the bigger they are the smaller the tusks. Must mean they have bigger peepees or something

As Tieg said....SEX SELLS. Thus they have boobs.

Also any anthro or werewolf female I've seen has had boobs. As did female centuar and taurens and other similar monsters. There was always a huge difference between males and females. so I'm not sure why you think this is a problem.

cow: This is true. XD Maybe! ;D C'mon...Vol'jin and Rokhan gotta be packin! *does a kitty sexy growl*
Also as a nifty fact....the Sand Trolls ARE Jungle Trolls, technically. They were jungle trolls that got stuck in the desert during the Sundering and adapted to their environment.

@ Sand Trolls:
Personally, I'd rather Zul'Farrak get swallowed up in a sinkhole and never ever be seen or heard from again :P Though that's more the dungeon than the actual Trolls I dislike

During the Zalazane's Fall event, Bwonsamdi said Vol'jin had some BIG mojo, if you know what I'm saying.

Also, why some races don't have a female model, well... be glad because I don't wanna see this female ogre in game. *shutters*

It helps us relate to them because while they may not exist in reality they have a semblance to us and our reality. If it didn't really matter that they look real then they wouldn't have a humanoid appearance or their would be races that are playable that are completely inhuman looking. I have yet to find an mmo or rpg that allows you to play something that is not human looking except maybe rifts. (after reading what I have in this post just want say not trying to be on the attack here. I just hate when people say its fantasy with out really digging in to why we all like to play it)

^This. Both extreme sides of the "its fantasy vs it must be realistic" argument are wrong if taken 100%. The game (along with all other 'fantasy' entertainment such as movies, books, etc) has to strike a balance. It needs to have some fantasy elements to capture out interest and pull us out of our normal lives and just plain to be fun. But yes, they still need roots in reality, especially for playable characters. If it's not 'human' enough, the majority of people will not be able to identify with it. For example, if our characters were bouncing colored cubes with high res intricate geometric designs on them, that wouldn't sell very well. The character design really has to be in between.

Anyways, on the topic of the sexual dimorphism in wow, i think the draenei are the most extreme example. It does seem a little weird to have the male and female SO different, because human differences aren't even close to that degree. At the same time, some other irl animals do show large size differences, especially reptiles where the female is larger to better hold eggs. I suppose the difference in draenei sizes is still (barely) able to be considered realistic. If the males were any larger, uh... There might be some problems with mechanics for producing baby draenei.

Except since Draenei live for a long time and notice there are not a lot of draenei children around, they dont reproduce much for a better reason. Also there are men as big and buff as a male draenei that live quite normal lives.

The male draenei appear to be around 2.5-3 times the size of the females, which is why it seems to me about the upper limit of realistic for a standard 'human-ish' dimorphic difference.

At any rate, I see from the comment on 'quite normal lives' directed at my earlier post, that the point i made is dangerously close to being a problem. I was merely discussing the size differences in the in-game races. I had absolutely NO intended meaning toward real life people of varying sizes and/or muscle mass. In fact, that topic hadn't even crossed my mind. However now that you have brought it up, I want to make it clear that I was not trying to "make an issue" in any way. I apologize if anyone did take offense, as that was not my intention to even touch that topic.
I'll go ahead and leave this discussion thread now before any damage is done.

Actually I'd really like to see a female Ogre, here's a edit someone did of what one might look like

Image

It isn't pretty by any means, but I think it gives a pretty accurate and fitting feel to what they could look like.

I'd love to have this in game :D
