Linesk does the Chimaera shuffle

Unread post by pengupuff »

The Razza was too flashy and washed my little blood elf out.
The Evalcharr got kicked to the curb.
A creamy, plain-looking Azshara model managed to stick around for a few days, but no cigar.
Nuramoc was just too purple.

BUT AT LONG LENGTH, I have found the right chimaera for me!
Meet Hyperion:

Before the newest patch went live, I asked for opinions on which chimaera I should nab, and someone actually suggested this golden yellow model, but I shrugged it off. I thought I would dislike those alien faces. But earlier today, in a fit of boredom, I went out looking for one to tame. I ended up choosing a mob that was flying circles around a tree at a really fast speed. O.O
It looked pretty strange.

Anyway, Hyperion is just awesome. His golden coloration is really great, and I've already gotten him up to 85 and have been taking him with me in random BGs. That frost breath is pretty deadly.

Wow! I never realised exactly how gorgeous and rich that colour is. I've recently found an appreciation for the Outland model, and I may have to go out and give this one a try. Lovely screenies, Hyperion suits you perfectly. How come you didn't figure it out sooner, Pengu, what with that lovely yellow shale spider of yours pointing the way in the right colour-direction? :P

Congratulations!

That's fantastic! Chimaeras are one of my favourite pets, the Outland models especially. =) I've got both Nuramoc and The Razza, I just can't decide who I want to get rid of, so while space allows it, I'll keep 'em both! <3 Congratulations on your tame!

Wow, I didn't even know that model was in-game--it looks so bright! The pics I'd seen made me think it was dull cream-brown, but that is GOLDEN! Looks great with you!
