Bit of a hangup there, I know one other hunter and...well, I think he uses BM for tanking...I could ask. I ask him if he's still BM, and he says nope, he went MM/SV for raiding. Okay. I tell Jessi as such and tell Taka - the hunter friend - that I was trying to help find a spirit beast a home. He went 'Which one?' and I described Karoma to the best of my ability.
He went quiet for a bit, and then went 'omg omw'.
So he pops over to Orgrimmar, respecs in record time, and tosses me a party invite. I should mention that I forgot to tell him where Karoma was - I figured he knew, considering I cried on his e-shoulder all the time when I was camping her. So a few minutes pass while I'm telling Jessi that he changed his mind and he's on his way, and then he pipes up in party chat - "Storm Peaks, right?".
My brain hit the breaks so hard it tried to shoot out of my eyes. "No no no Twilight Highlands!" "Goddammit!" was the basic gist of what followed.
He blew his Hearthstone CD flying out here, and he and I don't know how to get him there any faster. I grab a flightpath to Org with intentions to try and help keep Karoma safe, and Taka tells me he bought a port for 200g to get back to Org.
I don't know the details per-se, as I didn't get there until post-tame, but long story short my buddy has a brand new Spirit Wolf. :)

And for a tidbit on the name - Roesjen was a white wolf Taka used up until a roleplay event with an Alliance guild, if I remember right. The details are a little hazy, but I'm fairly sure she didn't survive and he was pretty torn up ICly over it all. It's good to see her back. :)
