Hmm, I'm stumped trying to think of a good name for my new Scorpid pet.

I'm hoping for something that highlights how wicked he looks...a suitably metal name I'd say.

Any ideas are welcome. :)

There's a scorpion-god in a book I once read called Chalava. Might work.

Selquit is an Egyptian goddess who took care of the dead and healed scorpion stings. She's viewed as a scorpion goddess.
Hededet is a lesser from that drew power from her.

You could also play with some scorpion type names...there are bizarre ones. My favorite name is the Chilean Chocolate scorpion....sounds so tasty, is so deadly. Haha.

I used to tame that on countless hunter alts, back before BC.

I always named him Nightmare. It just felt right to me.

Ive always named my scorpions Scorpity... yeah a bit silly but i like it XD

What about Antaeus? The Greek word, Antaios, which lies behind his name means "set-against" or "hostile."
I named my old Scorpid Zinc, maybe it would fit your little guy too? Good luck finding him the right name!

Well my hordie hunters scorpid is named PinchyColada ... you know after Pinja Colada.. just twisted so it fits a scorpid...but then again my hordie hunters name is Kahlua so it migth fit her better then you :)

Thanks so much for the ideas everyone!

Even though I dropped my Blood Elf in favor of a Troll, I still went and tamed the exact same Scorpid so naming it is still relevant. x3

I've got myself a list of possibilities that I think I like, now just to decide between them. ><

Lol, I asked myself that too but they sort of look like they have fangs, and I just mostly liked the sound of the name. xD

I thought about voodoo, as you now play a troll but couldn't find any loa connected to scorpions.

But I did find an egyptian goddes: Mafdet, Goddess of Scorpions and Snakes

On my hunter the first pet i tamed was a scorpid, always my favorite pet, and i named Grimcaw. he's still my best pet, and still around today. i thought that was a good name for a scorpid. or a crab.
