Once I reached the lake I swept the camera around out of curiosity and who do I see? So I wing it back to the dwarf and /excited at him followed by a few /beckons. Making sure he was following I guided him over to the blue Thunderpuppy where the dwarf practically dive-bombed the poor thing, frost trapped and began taming, which was successful. My heart is still pounding.
The dwarf told me to /wait and relogged to a tauren DK with which he thanked me. Apparently he'd been camped at the disk by Brunnhilde Village for a while, flew over to the lake with no luck and was preparing for a long camp at the northern point. He'd only just arrived there, so Skoll must've only just spawned when I found him! He told me to expect a reward within the hour. Had it not already been sent I would've declined.
