Okay maybe sad isn't the right word but.. that feeling and rush you get when you are hunting for a pet.. that was all over for me.
I was sitting afk in org when I thought why not re-live those moments again-- for other people.
Especially when I am not doing anything-- I mean.. might as well look for them.. there's a plethora of people who still want many of these beauties and haven't been so lucky. My friend told me I'm the luckiest hunter he knows because I've never had to seriously camp for the pets I have. If I want it, that day, or the latest next day it's mine. So I decided to put that luck to good use.
First on the list was Ghostcrawler. I just had a gut feeling he was up.. ( a womans got to listen to her heart right? )
So off I went!
As soon as I got to the bottom I started walking along his pathway. I went from the bottom up.
By the time I got towards the end my macro targeted him. NPC did not, however. That rush I got from when I first tamed him came all the way back! OMG, I was going to find this guy a home!!!
So I immediately message my friend to get here NOW GC was up. She didn't reply right away, so I was like GHOSTCRAWLER IS RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME. And she replied with an OMG, and immediately tried to get to where I was.
What I didn't know in all this excitement was she didn't even start the vashj'ir quests to have the run speed/breathe underwater buff so I used have a group will travel to get her to me faster.
Things started to get quite interesting...
I guess she thought it would be an easy tame because she accepted it, got to GC and started taming him. BAM she got killed within 4 seconds.
She released, came back down but had died again because she wasn't able to tame him in time. She actually died 2 times and then I told her to go quickly do the the vashj'ir quest, it's the only way she would be able to tame him and I will keep guard. At this point I am surprised NO one had come down yet.
This was the most intense tame I was ever a part of and it wasn't even MY TAME. I smoked 2 ciggs all nervous hoping she would be done before someone else swam down.
In the meantime.. I kept my eyes on Ghostcrawler. GC must have been laughing at the scenario.
Finally, she was done. I told her everything she had to do while she was questing so THIS TIME it was a quick easy tame.
She popped her haste elixir, rapid fire and started to tame. Ghostcrawler was quickly hers.
This made me really happy, and I can't wait to give other rares new homes in the future. =)

You, madam, are an awesome person! I know how intense the wait can be for others to claim there new friends. Sometimes I think it's worse than some of my own tames.
