While my hunter was level 81, I ran into Terrorpene . . . who wound up destroying me pretty dang quickly in my pathetic old ICC gear. So! I went on a quest to get him to 85 as quickly as possible and then start collecting the new Cataclysm rare spawns as I'd done the Northrend ones previously.

With vengeance in mind, I began my hunt, checking spawn points 2-4 times a day, 2-3 rares at a time, depending on how far apart they were. My first group was Terrorpene (the jerk) and Sambas and Karoma. Second day Sambas was mine. Still no Terrorpene. On the fifth day, I found Karoma, then the sixth, I FINALLY tamed that blasted Terrorpene in the morning at around 7:30am, then scrounged up Ghostcrawler that night at around 7:50pm. And then on the seventh day in the evening around 7:30pm, I found the blue Madexx scorpid. I couldn't believe my luck.

All this and no camping when I spent weeks and weeks and hours on end going after all the Northrend beasties . . . it took me seven days to get the Cata ones. I expected to be at this a while.

I don't care for shale spiders, so I won't be going for Jadefang, though.

This expansion likes my hunter.

Now what to do? XD

Congrats on all your pretties!!! Especially so for taming a blue Madexx, I see them so rarely!

If you want something to do...you could try getting the Madexx rainbow.....the claw wave compels you!

That's possible . . . but I might grab a friend and head for Chromaggus next.

I really wish they'd implement a pet with the stone cat skin.
