Maedexx killed in front of me. :(

Was cruising Uldum on a whim hoping for a Maedexx sighting and he was actually there! Green too! I was in the process of dismissing my King Krush when an 83 druid swoops down and kills him right in front of me. Couldn't even send him a quick tell as he was horde and I am alliance. I went on my horde toon all set to complain to him but he actually felt sorry. Thought it would drop loot. (Frickin thanks for that mindset Blizz. ) So angry, was cussing up a storm in vent. I really wish blizzard would never have added blue items to rare spawns that can be hunter pets. Put the wrong idea into people's heads.

I'm so sorry. I was in Bastion of twilight today doing trash before the council when we started talking about hunter pets cause someone got alerted that sambas was up. One of my guildy's told me he had killed blue madexx today, not knowing it didn't drop anything. I was like, OMG YOU BROKE MY HEART.. ( I want the blue one! ( i have red which is nice ) but still ).

Sadly I don't think it's ever going to get out of peoples heads that these rares won't drop anything this xpac. I mean.. even when I first started playing in BC with my main priest and didn't know anything about the game any time I'd see a rare, I'd be like ooooh silver! must kill. It's like an auto reaction your brain sends.

It really seems like everyone wants a piece of Madexx lol. In the officals/mmo-champ/petopia etc I'm always seeing threads for Madexx. I feel kinda fortunate having the Brown/Blue/Red ones but it's gonna be a pain getting the last two. No joke.

I understand the horrible feeling. Blue Madexx was killed in front of me right as NPC scanner went off because Deathwing flew overhead. He killed everything in the area including me. D: I got the achievement, though.
We just need to keep at it, and one day, it will be ours.
