Well, today while I was kinda shopping/making a phone cover for my Droid (skinit.com, pretty cool), I had npcscan scare the crap out of me. I alt tab back over and there was Aeonaxx flying in circles in front of me! I quickly make a mad dash toward him since he's quite a ways away, hoping to beat anyone to him. Must've been my lucky night, as I jump on him and away we go! I was able to shoot him the entire time, which made it go pretty quickly (I had changed over to my Surv spec earlier in case I did see him since a pet was gunna be useless as BM). We zoomed all over the map while I was shooting the crap out of him. I think I shoot one of his whelps and that was it...they weren't doing much damage to me. Anyways, we ended up on the other side of the map by the time I finished him off (and luckily he died in a spot with no aggressive mobs lol). I squealed and gathered my loot. My first stone drake. Here's some screens to show the event and where I was camping and where I saw him.
It was about 8:30pm my time, which would be 9:30pm 7:30pm (my bad, I'm half asleep now) server time. I forgot to take a screen of the kill...oops. I was kinda excited.
This is about where he was circling at.
My position on the map is where he was, with the big circle being where I was when I saw him.
And that spinning rock there is where I was camping him at when I saw him in the distance.
Hopefully this will help out potential campers! Don't give up!
*wanders back to Storm Peaks* Maybe I can get some luck with the TLPD...I had given up on it after camping for a year and only see it's corpse once...
There's other reasons I got frustrated but that was a big one...
