and if it is, does it keep it's green voodoo eyes?

I know, I'm getting all worked over for glowing eye's... but I have that cat model tamed without it... but the green add something imo.

If it is, it doesn't. If you look at one of Wowhead's screenies for the kitty, it shows the dead feline without its glowy eyes. So I have a feeling it won't keep them tamed, since I'm pretty sure the Har'koa kitties do keep glow eyes once dead.

I could be wrong, however.

Can't be tamed, doesn't have a diet, and indeed loses the glowing eyes on death. Doesn't have a ? in its name anymore either <.< >.>

Is Mauti a loa, or some kind of ancient spirit? My troll hunter collects loa and such, so if Mauti was one, I'd tame a black saber in a minute.

No, it's just a mommacat that was juju'd up by the ZG trolls (or Bethekk's minion, it's been awhile) that you have to chase and slay in order to reach a scout whose toes are being nibbled on by hungry baby sabers because he lost his boots.

Or something like that.
