Okay, so I've been trying to find the answer. But as we all know, sometimes when you look really hard for something, it can be right in front of your face and you don't find it.
So, is there a number that a level 80 Beastmaster should be "aiming" for (haha) when it comes to Attack Power? With Aspect of the Dragonhawk on, I'm over 4000 I believe. I'm hit capped - over in fact - and looking to replace some gems and am wondering if I should look at AP or Crit at this point.

I don't think there would be such a thing as too much attack power.
I'd say if you're DPS is great right now and you're comfortable with your numbers, go ahead and get some more crit if you like. But if you feel like there's still room for improvement for your damage then stick with AP. It's hard to decide on stuff like that sometimes, but just go with what you think will benefit you best.

Re: Attack Power Magic Numbers?
I know there's probably no answer to this, but what type of dps should a BM hunter be striving towards. I know alot of things going into that, gear, buffs, pets, but can someone ballpark a figure. Let's say, no buffs, no aspect, no pet? Would someone be nice and test this out on a dummy? Maybe post up your AP, ranged weapon, and arrow type? I'm just curious how bad my dps is considered to be. I will try to do this myself tonight and post up to cpmpare figures.

If you're a BM hunter and are trying to do a DPS test with no pet and no aspect active...you're kind of missing the point. A Beast Master is supposed to be using his pet to get an accurate idea of damage. I do plenty of tests on a dummy. The last one I did was not terribly scientific, but here you go. I went for the amount of time I had mana + 1 use of Arcane Torrent, no Viper aspect. I was in Aspect of the Dragonhawk (but had no other buffs apart from Kindred Spirits, which I can't exactly get rid of) and was using Terrorshaft Arrows, my Zod's repeating longbow, and my devilsaur, Clayburn.
I believe my DPS under those conditions was somewhere in the neighborhood of 4600 for the duration of the test.
