NPCScan and Ghostcrawler
With the ground surface being so deep, can npcscan still detect GC by flying right at water level, or do you have to swim down closer to the surface?

Re: NPCScan and Ghostcrawler
Well thats ok, right as I finished this, I went down to the surface and got him, but if you know if would be good to notify others, cuz flying above would be way faster.

Re: NPCScan and Ghostcrawler
I had passed over the spawnpoint on my hunter when I was in the area and found him while mounted a bit up.
But please take into consideration that there IS a sea monster that pats across every now and again with 6+ mil hp.
So staying low may not be such a bad idea.
Edit: Guess that answers that then, lol.

You don't really need npcscan for Ghostcrawler. As he and the elite pat are the only ones on the reef, just use track beast.

But Ghostcrawler phases out, so it is not possible to detect him on either track beasts or track hidden when he gets invisible, so might be a good idea to have NPCscan or silver dragon to check for him just in case.GormanGhaste wrote:You don't really need npcscan for Ghostcrawler. I thought he wasn't detectable by npcscan when phased out; I could be wrong though.Shirubia wrote:But Ghostcrawler phases out, so it is not possible to detect him on either track beasts or track hidden when he gets invisible, so might be a good idea to have NPCscan or silver dragon to check for him just in case.

Re: NPCScan and Ghostcrawler
Not sure if it does, but the time I found the ghostcrawler I tamed, clicking in the npc scan button didn't targeted it until about 5-8 seconds later, when it rephased.GormanGhaste wrote:I thought he wasn't detectable by npcscan when phased out; I could be wrong though.Shirubia wrote:But Ghostcrawler phases out, so it is not possible to detect him on either track beasts or track hidden when he gets invisible, so might be a good idea to have NPCscan or silver dragon to check for him just in case.

He isn't. I found him, followed him, bloop, then had to find him again. So I don't think it can grab him if he's phased.
