This starts on Wednesday. I'd gotten called off of work and was spending an early morning home online. I was logged onto my pally and was in Twilight Highlands picking herbs. I head to the bathroom and come back to a silverdragon alert for.... Karoma. I'd never even SEEN Karoma tamed, let alone one in the wild! So I freak out, force log off my pally and jump to Emma. Out I fly. It takes me fifteen minutes to get there. When I look at the /who, I see another hunter in the area. CRAP.
I fly around the spawn points below Firebeard's, since I think that was where I could've found her. After ten minutes of flying around I look at the /who again. That hunter is gone. I decide that he must've caught Karoma. As a last ditch effort I flew to the spawn beside Firebeard's..... And there she is. Sitting pretty and waiting for me to land, lay a frost trap, and start my tame. I promptly freak out and my day is made.
I headed to Stormwind to show her off to a guildie, and they spot another ghostly wolf nearby; someone had tamed the lone hunter. I find out how to do this and now Karoma was joined by Arthur.
The next morning, Thursday, I am again not at work because my scheule was skipped and no one had told me. HOW AWESOME. So I remember yesterday and I fly up north to Grizzly Hills.... And, Bam. Arcticus is just waiting to be tamed.
A few hours later I fly to Deepholme and Jadefang was out. I tamed him as well. I Logged back on later that night to find him re-spawned. I debated killing him for the pet, but found one of my friends online and she said she'd want him. There began the twenty minutle long debauckle of getting her jadefang that started with her realizing she couldn't get int he line of sight and ended with me dying and her finally getting the tame. Feeling warm and fuzzy, I headed towards Vash'jir to look for Ghostcrawler.
... His name is Nerfbat.
I went from a hunter with no rare spawns to one with three spirit beasts and a rare in two days xD Now if my Skoll treats will attract me a wolf...
