Still no Loque.. But I DID find...

I figured I might as well start up a thread like this, as so far I have now found three different unique skinned rares while hunting for Loque, heh. At this rate.. it seems that unsuccessfully hunting for Loque is a good luck charm! Maybe I should try and add any other desired pets to my list before I find him and hope the trend continues.

Some of you may remember my posts about finding Aotona and King Krush while hunting for Loque. This morning i logged in, and was about to catch the boat up to northrend. I've taken to /who sholazar before I do to see how busy it is, and if there aren't many, I'll whisper and ask after any sightings. The druid who was questing there this morning said they hadn't seen him yet, but would whisper me if they did. So, I figured I might as well go check for something else. I HAVE been wanting that gorgeous pyro turtle.... So I take the portal to Hyjal, hope on the flight down to Gates of Sothann... Fly over to the big lava lake, and see all sorts of dots on my map. I realize "Gah, I forgot to take off track elementals" so I start hovering over all the dots.. Terrorpene, Magma giant, Magma giant... waaaaaait a minute.. *drag mouse back to the first dot* TERRORPENE! So I fly to the nearest island, drop off my mount... And Variscix, my king krush, who was on aggresive from pvping last night charges in! I'm panicking slightly... I quickly dismiss, and feign death, as I've heard how hard he can be to tame. I then pop my drums, resistance and haste elixir... and hit the tame button! I have to say I wasn't expecting to be successfull with all I've read, but his flames barely tickled! Now I have a pretty fire turtle of my own! Just need to come up with an equally awesome name, heh.

I ended up naming him Ardenset, after the latin ardens which, from my research means "burning" or "on fire" heh.

This thread is now obsolete! I FOUND HIM! I was doing my last circuit around sholazar before I was going to go work on my flamewarden title for my mage (very fitting, as she's a pyro). I was actually going to stop on the last circuit because that one had been my estimated 6 hours after reset... And I figured if he wasn't there, I'd just come back 12 hours after reset and check again. However, when I reached my circuit starting point.. I figured that I should give it one more... Just incase...

Got to the spawn point by the waterfall near Shango, idling spamming my target macro while reading something on my other monitor when what should I hear... But illidan's booming voice once again! Dropped down, hit tame beast without thinking, preparing, or anything... Was in a huge rush as I knew there were others in the zone! Luckily it went off without a hitch... and now he is all mine!
