Camping Rares...What to do?

So probably already been asked =/ but i used to be able to stay awake for LONG LONG hours and camp/fly in circles for rare pets. my longest being 38hrs for loque.

But lately i've just been unable to. i stumbled upon sambas and Karoma while MAYBE circling for an hour before logging and that was fien and all as i didnt feel i wasted all those hours camping. HOWEVER it just didnt feel the same when i tamed. it was log on, oh hey there you are tame and done.

I LOVED the adrenaline rush and nervousness (as terrible as it is to lose a pet you are trying to tame. the thrill actually makes it more fun for me =/ )
And so 4.2 hits today and i KNOW im gonna camp and circle etc for banny and the 2 new kitties. and so my question is:

Why couldn't i do it?
Why am i doing it now perfectly fine?
Does anyone else do this/feels the same way?

I actually have felt this way ever since I discovered Arcturis, Gondria, and then Skoll just flying from zone to zone within 10 minutes. The only rare I've gotten excited about recently was blue Madexx and then Loque, but I suppose Loque doesn't count because I already have him. :/

Also I'd like to know... does anyone else out there RP with their pets while they're camping, or is it just me? >.>

What to do while camping?

1) Chores. Set NPCScan really loud.

2) Watch anime on the other monitor/tv

3) If you have a gathering prof, gather.

4) Wait in LFG

5) Read stuff here.
