They were just turning a blind eye until they could find a way to fix it.

That is really odd, i saw just earlier today someone running around in molten front with an oil-stained wolf. I got my wolf via the lupus pupus quest and a guildie got his ghostly 2-headed vulture with the pet rez and they're working fine (well, i havent seen the vulture yet but the guildie uses it as a common quest buddy now, they werent on today tho, if this problem started on thurs or something)......... im kinda confused on how you lost your pet buffs on already tamed beasts

When did this happen? Just logged on and both my oil pets are still stained, and my fire boar is still on fire.

Bah! I am too! I looked and they don't have them at all. It it my wow or what? :C My UI has been acting up a lot latey...
