Lost Karkin cos of GY Leashing

I'd parked myself between the first two spawn points and watched the third with eagle eyes. He of course did spawn at the third point; turned out that I didn't need eagle eyes to pick him up on NPCScan. But, much to my dismay, I managed to fall off the rocks on the way up. I ended up at the Fireplume graveyard only to be killed by on of Karkin's attacks.

I then ended up elsewhere.

Flailing to return to my spot in hopes the other hunter failed I somehow repeatedly fell off the cliff. Guild perks are not useful on those rocks. By the time I got back all my gear was busted and an Alliance hunter had tamed the crab.

What is up with the graveyard leashing? I thought if I died close to one I'd end up at THAT ONE, not the one more than a few yards away.

i had the exact same problem lastnight when karkin was up, took me about 7 tries before i swapped to an empty spec and tried the silence shot trick, lucky i was the only hunter on (early morning).

I suspect this particular one might be deliberate. If someone fails to negotiate the rocks and falls they probably shouldn't be rewarded by a quick rez up on the floating island.

I had the same problem as well. I couldn't get up the rocks at all, though - fell right through them as a ghost. Trying to tame Skarr and had to wait 20 minutes for rez sickness. (Failed twice, needed to take the rez twice.) It was really not fun.

I dont see why not Worba, its hard navigating rocks let alone doing it while npcscanner is blaring and your shaking so badly its hard to walk straight let alone jump right. So having to run all the way from widows clutch.. seems a little wrong. Why would they put a GY there if they didnt expect people falling off constantly on the rocks.

Yeah I had that -exact- problem with Skarr. Except I only died 4 times and had to run back and wait out the rez sickness for 10 min. I got him but it's a tense wait.
