Skarr spawn point help!

Ok, I know Skarr spawns in 2 places, the northern one I know, but what is the southern location? There are a bunch of floating rocks around, does anyone have any screenshots that give a great view of which rock s/he spawns on?

Relax guys. I took care of it.

When you hit Reply, if you scroll down, you'll see boxes like Filename. You click Browse and find the screenshot in your wow folder and click okay. Then either hit Submit(just one file or you've finished your post) or Add File(if you need to add more than one)

So its the rock thats Circled, is the other spawn point for Skarr right?

All the other hunters are grouped up by the northern one but theres no-one else around the southern point so I want to make sure I am in the right spot to "be first"

its ok im new to this forums thing lol but i made this account cuz this site did help me tame kirix and almost skitter but i got ganked by horde for skitter happen to me 4 times with that pet already lol

Interesting... I found a Dark Iron Treasure Chest there just now, with a blue item + silver. I wonder if it shares a timer with the rares? O.o

Edit--popped in a screenshot; is this one of Skarr's rocks?

oh god I hope not!!!!!
I hope treasure chests are on a different respawn setting than rares!!!!!

I think all treasure chests drop a rare item now, I find some in lower level zones and they always have a blue.

Aye, it had in a pair of blue level 84 plate gloves and a bit of silver. The placement just seemed odd, so I figured I'd ask, considering I haven't really looked into Skarr/Karkins' spawnpoints : /

Skarr's spawn point is the rock to the left bottom.

Love NPC-scans little message there!

Edit: And, NPC scanner went off and Skarr was at the other spawn point and was tamed

ahh well, have a relative respawn timer to go from now!

I got that chest before Acherontia, and no, its close but skarr spawns on the rock just below the one in the pic. =)

I've seen 2-3 chests now on various rocks. I don't believe they're connected.
