So frustrated...

I am new to the forums, but I have been loyal to the site for years now. Normally I don't vent, but I know there are others that are going thru the same thing right now. I am getting choosy about what spots to fill in my stable, and have only chosen 3 of the new pets to tame for this patch. Magria, Ban, and Skarr are the pets of choice. Skarr is too camped atm, so I am biding my time on Magria. However, in the past few days, I have seen some of the most selfish, bitter behavior in the 6+ years of WoW I have played. I watched in horror as Ban got destroyed by 2 Pallys and a Mage "just because" (granted he took 6 others out, so he fought hard to the end, lol, brave bird) I also suffered a pointless tame by a fellow guildie on Magria ater he told me "all I want is the white spirit cat" then proceeded to tell me "I couldn't resist" while I was knowingly AFK for 2 minutes. I have had wonderful luck with all the prior rares, but it seems that we hunters are not to be afforded anything strictly geared to us, and I saddens me that our fellow players take more pride in grief than joy...sorry to vent, I am just discouraged.

I've also been subject to this griefing as I've seen both Solix and Deth killed It discouraged me a lot too when a troll hunter who had tried to tame Solix waltzed over and began to spam /laugh at my hunter friend and I. Then when Deth died there was a small raid group of alliance players ignoring the hunters around trying to get them to leave Deth alone! Venting here is ok I had the same good luck with rares that you had but as of the new patch I've only got one rare to myself that I had to die 6 times to get, Kirix is my only one. Best of luck on getting your rares! I know you will!

Try not to get too discouraged. I've been camping Magria since last night around 6 server so going on 30 hours now. Guild was about to ding 20 so I caved and went to do dailies on my druid b/c they wanted me to and someone nabbed Mags while I was gone. Then it happened again at 11:30 server this morning with Ankha. 2 hours later Banth spawned and a kitty druid killed it after I died a few times either b/c I goofed up my jump and people interrupting tame.

But 12 hours after the Ankha tame, she spawned again while I was eating dinner. I had the speakers turned up, was pre nakey and nabbed her rather easily. 4 hours later Banthy pops back up and this time I landed on the elk statues head, laid my trap, and actually remembered to pop my parachute. (Well I did kill myself once b/c of a misclick on my mount, but ahh well.) Had several hunters standing there watching, but no one tried to steal this time. And a kind druid threw me some heals. I named him Hooters at the request of my guildmates. lol

Now if I can just get Mags to come out for me. She's the one I really want, but at least I've gotten two consolation prizes during my wait. In any event, as boring as the camps are, these tames are absolutely a blast. Banthy was fun to tame. lol That was more epic than Sian used to be back when you had to actually try to get him to come out.
