Magrallea, and company (WIP!)

This is my first Lore/RP character stuff. Sorry if I did something wrong!

My name is Magrallea, I was born on December 24th. No one expected me as a girl, they all thought I was a boy. My mother wasn't disappointed that I was female, but my father sure was. He said to me, that the only thing I would be good for, was being a priest or druid. At that time, my father worked as a hunter companion trainer. He knew everything about a companion that you may or may not want to know. But he also took care of cats and lions. Also, King Wrynn, had ordered a small "pride" of lion cubs, that had thick manes, to be sent to my father to train them to be battle lions. I was so excited! When the cubs came via ship, my father inspected them each. And just like he had judged me, he judged the smallest lion cub, Shi. Picking little Shi up, he handed him to my brother, and told him, "Take this to Laforia, she'll take care of him." But before my brother left, I snatched Little Shi, and ran up to the portal to Darnasuss. That's when I knew, I had to be a hunter, it was MY calling. My father didn't believe me when I said I could be, he just sighed, and turned back to the other cubs. But there was still hope...lots and lots of hope. Then, I came up with a plan. I foolproof plan. I would go to the local hunter trainer, and ask him to train me!

eh wait er what? how old is Magrella? I mean female nelf can only be druids not more than 8 years in wow, and prior to the destruction of the world tree, nelf lived for thousands of years.

while female nelf was on constant virgil as sentinels, the males asleep in the emerald dream and this went on for 10 thousand years.

So yeah there would be NOTHING and I mean NOTHING to stop a nelf as a hunter, because it was the nelf rule that female wield swords and bows and follow the calling of Elune as priestess, while the male would use druidic magic.

This is a really good synopsis!

When you have the opportunity to do so, I'd like to see you flesh out the relationship Magrallea has between her father. There's a lot of potential to be had there. For example, you can write something like this ...

My father was a distant man. While I obtained complete and utter acceptance from my mother, my father resented the fact that I was not born a son. I felt myself longing for his approval, yet no matter how strong my convictions nor the efforts of my actions, he held firm to the belief that I was too fragile of both body and will.

You did mention there was a brother/son involved. I am assuming he is a younger brother since Magrallea's father had onced wished she were born male. If this is true, then you should probably include details of how this affected the daughter-father dynamic.

Centuries later, Elune finally blessed my father with a son. Our relationship however, remained constantly strained.

*Please note that the next couple of paragraphs are solely for recommendation purposes only. Please feel free to alter age and D.O.B. to best accomodate your character's backstory.
Remember that Night Elves age very, VERY slowly. About 15-20 times the human equivalent in years. So when you mentioned a birthdate you might want to include details about the particular year. I am gathering your Night Elf is still very young at this point in the story so let's first establish a general idea of her age. For example, if you'd like to make her appear around 6 year old, we'd take 6 and multiple it with 20 to equal 120 years. So roughly, your Night Elf is 120 years old (or whatever other age you get if you decide older).

Next we need to figure out what was happening in Azeroth 120 years ago. According to WoWiki (http://www.wowwiki.com/Timeline_(from_o ... ite,_2010)) this was a time between the birth of Medivh and the War of the Three Hammers. Because Warcraft lore is not absolute time-wise (in fact, the information will be slightly altered depending on the reference), it's ok to be vague in how you word the details here.

I was born on a crisp and chill December morning. An unusually peaceful time in the history of mortals, long before the arrival of any plague or scourge.

Overall, I'm liking the direction your taking your charater. You did very well for a first-timer. Keep working it and don't be afraid to add more detail later on.
