Damn griefers again (edit: got Karkin!)

We now have a delightfully fun pairing of disc priest and ret pally going round ganking and griefing any Horde hunters waiting for Skarr & Karkin. Including mind-controlling people off the edge of the island.

I suggest you report them, as well as having everyone else who has seen them do this or had it done to them also send in a ticket.

Unfortunately, PVP server, thus allowed. Very unlikely that they'll do anything.

Started the character on that server because friends played there -- of course, now they don't play ... perhaps I should do a realm change, but I balk at paying money for it ...

I got Karkin!

So went back later to camp again; an Alliance hunter was there but he disconnected, so I watched and waited. Soon, NPCscan went off! So I ran to the spawn point -- damn, he was too far down the steps to get from the top, and I suck at jumping, but I got across a few rocks and started, but he killed me just before the tame ran out.

So I rezzed, in a panic, and got attacked by a draenei shaman who'd bothered me before. I killed her, easily; and then she did shaman resurrection, and I killed her again. The draenei hunter from earlier showed up but didn't seem to be in a hurry -- perhaps he had Karkin already? Anyway, I jumped down again, gingerly edged to the platform rock edge, fired off a tame pet -- then a silencing shot as he charged up his fireball -- then a tame pet again, a few seconds in he starts doing damage again but I have 125k health but I was terrified, still -- and then he turned green!

And I hearthstoned the heck out of there.

Here he is! I named him Karkinaroth, which is a reference only P.C. Hodgell fans will get; it's a city name in her fantasy series, and obviously very punnily appropriate here.

Well done, grats! Karkin is probably my favourite of the new pets, I just love crabs and this one's so adorable with his gem eyes sticking out and the coloring in general : -)

Talking about griefing. Logged in and thought I'd hang around Magria's spawn point for a few moments just to have some horde hunters coming over and taking out all of their pets including Ankha and Magria to mess with my NPC scan. Now they're just sitting there. Ah well, I actually NEVER got a pet by camping. I just hate standing in one place and I'd hate it even more to get a pet I want get snatched in front of me after a few hours of camping. So far I Tammed Ankha (found her 2 times by random flyovers), found Skarr twice and Karkin once. Killed one Solix ( : -( ), then tammed another one few days later. Got Skitterflame and Ban'thalos as well. Last one I was really lucky with, he spawned just as I was going out of the firelands portal. So far worked for me just to randomly check on spawn points, but then I again, I check quite often Only missing Magria and Deth'tilac now from the ones I want. Last one will probably be a pain to get, not sure I'm up for the challenge yet. Not the kiting/pet sending itself, but dozen of time for other hunters and random people to come and interrupt my kiting is what worries me
