Got into the Firelands early for a free Scarr and Kirix!

And before you ask, I got in early due to that glitch or something at the second day of 4.2 when the dailies reset themselves twice, making it possible to get 20 marks before everyone else could. It was fixed soon after it happend so you had to be online during the "glitch" to access the firelands. This made taming Scarr and Kirix quite difficult. I was not alone however, as when I entered firelands for the first time I was greeted by a hunter in a party with his guild trying to tame all the rare spawns that were currently just roaming around.

First up was Kirix. We all had no idea how to get the darn spider. I was happy to let the other hunter tame him and all the other spiders and rares in firelands (at the time all I wanted and cared about was Ban'thalos) and so we discussed stradegies and other ideas in order to tame him and that darn crab who was sitting there mocking us. after many, many wipes they finally gave up and went to tame the other rares.

I stayed behind, because they kicked me from the group after they left... I guess they didn't trust me even though I said i wanted to help. The hunter was nice and he trusted me but his mean guildie shut me down and told me to go away each time I suggested something

Anyway, while they went off to tame Skitterflame, Solix, Deth'tilac AND Anthriss all at once, I was trying my best to work out exactly how to tame Kirix and Karkin. after many failed attempts and research (sadly no information was avaliable at the time...because we were the only ones there!) the guild group came back and eventualy tamed. Again, when I said grats and asked how they did it, that mean guildie shut me down once again. The hunter whispered me and told me what he did which was nice of him.

The next day was the final few hours when firelands was still inaccessable. Kirix had reappeared and Scarr was sitting there minding his own buisness at the time aswell (I would have checked if Deth and the other spiders were there, but I didn't know at the time where they were :s) So I finaly found a warrior who also had access to firelands and he interupted Scarr's attack to let me tame. Kirix was no problem since I knew when to deterence and tame, and where to stand. All in all I am a main spec BM hunter, and I probably wont use them, but since they were there and no one else could get them, I decided to spoil myself that day and bag some nice looking pets
(NEW NAMES: Kirix = Boogers, Scarr = Spiffy)

Edit: A few days later I was doing archaeology on my mage in twilight highlands and came across Sambas just roaming around. Again, I spoiled myself and got him on my BM hunter aswell :O
