Fun times. . .not really. . .sorta. . .I think. . .

Ok, so the bank has screwed up somehow and neither my old or new debit card will work. Don't know why, but I know I'm not looking forward to spending my lunch on Monday running to the bank to fight with them to get it working (banks never make mistakes, don'tcha know? ).

No debit card means my WoW has not been paid. blah. It's a no WoW weekend for me.

So, I'm getting caught up on some reading, doing a lot of cleaning and trying to organize all the boxes of books and other stuff that has collected over the years.

I discovered a treasure I didn't know I had. A box of Dr. Who tapes recorded off of PBS. :geek:

Dunno how many episodes I've got total, and they seem to be in no particular order. Think my weekend is gonna consist of me watching all these tapes and trying to organize them. :ugeek:

The old Dr. Who was teh win. Watched most of them back in the day. Didn't really get into the new updated ones.
I don't really feel like this is so much the "Post-Modern" era as much as its the "Pre-Zombie-Apocalpse" era. I consider myself more of a forward thinking guy and an era that just won't die is just as feasible as a coming era, where the dead come back.

I don't know what is more surprising. The fact that my VCR still works, or the fact that these tapes still play. Well.. mostly play. One the sound/video is a little fuzzy.

ohhh. . Tom Baker episodes! :D

I'm tempted to make a dirty monty python joke. . but I think I'll just wander back to the TV and my Dr. Who marathon.
