Ohhhh, my little red mastiff.

So, when the mastiff's were released how ever many months ago, I raced out and tamed a nice red one. I named him Stray. One of my favorite movies is Turner and Hooch, Hooch being a Dogue de Bordeaux or French Mastiff. Well, yesterday, I tamed my new one!! Meet Stray! He is an 8 week old Dogue de Bordeaux. I've been trying to get one of these dogs for many years, and I finally got my dream dog!

Well here is our pup a mere 4 weeks later. He is 12 weeks old today and is getting huge! Turning out to be a great puppy though.

Thanks guys. He is a lot of fun. Puppy work is getting rough ( no pun intended ) for us. Potty breaks at 3 AM, cleaning up accidents, feeding....we should have just had another baby. LOL

Hey all, just thought Id toss an update up. Here is Stray, 19 weeks old now, and right at 60 pounds. He got down Sit, Shake and stay a bit. Now we are learning lay down and speak. Great pup so far!

Hi again all. Just thought I would necro my old thread a bit and show off Stray again. He just turned 6 months old on Thanksgiving, and is doing very very well. Everyone who meets him falls in love with him, and he loves to meet new people. Today he had to go to the vet for a couple booster shots, and at 6 months and 4 days old, he is a nice 86.6 pounds! The breeder we got him from can't believe how big he is getting. But he is a big love bug, and he loves snuggling up with us all. I look forward to him turning a year old now.
