Good BG Leveling spec?

I'm fairly new around these forums and haven't played a hunter since 08. I was thinking of making a pure pvp hunter, but not sure what's a good bg.leveling spec to go with. Survival looks cool again, but MM seems to be the most powerful.

Any suggestions?

Either BM or Surv. BM will give you a stunlock which you can kill most anyone in that time. Survival on the other hand seems to one shot people with explosive shot. At least in the earlier brackets.

A lot of people also say MM ("more damage"), but I prefer BM. Just more fun in general, and Blizz did a decent job of balancing specs so it is more on skill now. I've been out done by the other two specs, but outdone them more often than not.

Really, all of them are viable, but BM seems to be the most viable PVP spec in end-game. I've always played MM and that includes battlegrounds, but I see BM hunters and SV hunters in there all the time.

I would say, about...85% of the time, on an estimate, each time I have been ganked by another hunter in PVP gear they have been BM. Kill Command hurts...

Marks is the best all-around spec, but if short-term crazy burst is your thing, roll as BM. Survival has some nifty utility with wyvern as an extra CC, but ultimately loses out to straight burst or double cooldowns (<3 readiness).
