which hunter spells are considered spells or magical?

hunters do physical damage with most attacks. last night i solod the AQ twin. i killed the physical dps one. i realized half way through fighting him that he was immune to serpent sting. and since he is immune to magical damage i guess serpent sting is classed as magical.

well i got a lot of hate for soloing the twins last night. so i want to prove that im not a noob by soloing the magical twin. i figured i just need to keep serpent sting up on him. along time ago i solod that blue dragon in azshara. i was bm spec and it was immune to arcane shot so i just kept serpent sting on it until it died.

anyways is serpent sting the only magical damage attack hunters have? i was thinking maybe snake trap since the snakes spit their abilities and immolation trap? if i specced SV spec for increased serpent stings and glyphed for immolation trap. then i thought about going BM spec for the spirit beast heals since the magic twin does alot more damage than the physical. and if you watched the video if made for the physical twin i was at about quarter of my hp when i killed him.

logic matters nothing, according to blizzard, shooting a bunch of arrows into the air also counted as being too much of a magic spell (volley). So it's really not a clear cut call on what they deem magic or not :\

Yah I remember when they removed Volley, the reason they gave was pretty lame.

We want to make Multi-Shot the spell hunters use for AE.

Channeling a spell that makes arrows fall out of the sky doesn't feel like a hunter ability and doesn't even really match the name of the spell.

True. I think it was BS that they took it out. Isn't taming a giant purple spider that will eat your face off too "magical" too? (It's just my opinion there)

Kill command
Aimed shot
any melee base attack/pet damage

anything else is spell damage

for twin emps, i would prob put my ferocity pet w/ growl on the magic immune boss and use serpent sting, cobra shot, arcane shot and immolation trap on the physical immune boss.

I couldn't even get one of the twins down when I tried o.o. However, isn't one of them immune to AS too? Those two are such a headache
