Okay,

First a brief description... My main 80 Hunter is now being used by my son in the Army. So these are for my new Hunter.

Nightshade was named after the plant, 'Deadly Nightshade'. Her nickname to prove a point is actually 'Deadly' LOL

Griefstrike was named after 4+ years of putting me through hell just trying to find him alive in a search that spanned 5 servers and 4 guilds. Whilst he's the ageing packleader of Laz's brood, there's still a runtling pup in that boy XD

"...Ooops, hehe!"
Boannan was the first real pet Laz clung onto way back when we were only allowed 3 pet slots, and after a series of events including a guild collapse, she was let go and I always regretted it. Flash forward a couple years on after relenquishing Lunaris's reins from the Baron, they met up again at Frostsaber Rock and have been together ever since. Her name incidentally is that of a Celtic Goddess ("Boannan - Benevolent Goddess of the River, Lake & Stream")

Tiberias was named specifically after Jeremy Irons' wonderful mentor-like character in "Kingdom Of Heaven", who originally voiced Scar in The Lion King - both favourite films of mine. In a sense, Tibs is a younger, learning version of the character, under Griefstrike's wing.

Amenti, like Griefstrike, spanned a search over 5 servers and four guilds, eventually on the day I finally let go of searching for her...there she was. Amenti is named after a particular Egyptian Goddess who was responsible for the care and prestige of Bast and her children, and, depending on the pantheon, her name either translates to "One of Bast's Trinity" or "Goddess Lioness" - she also apparently cavorted with a wolf (one of Wepwajet's many forms) - hence why Laz allowed her and Griefstrike to become prideleader/packleader. Since Araga is the only 'maned' lioness in the game, I found the name to be both apt and fitting.

I've been a long time lurker around here..and thought I'd finally sign up..I saw this post and decided to join in..so here it goes..sorry for being so image heavy!

Here's my main with her electric puppy, Thunder (aka Skoll)



And with her newest pet...Geist (aka Arcturis)



With a pretty tiger named after a friends character, Prometheus



With a big white wolf, who she called Klauss (was Timber from dun morogh)



And lastly with her most loyal and trustworthy pet, Casavir (named after a Paladin character from NWN2)



Next up we have stuff with her mate, Raloth, and his pets, starting with his most loyal, a black lion from the barrens who he calls Pierce



With a pig he "stole" from an alliance camp stable master, and renamed Ironhide



And now next to his second favorite pet, a unique snow leopard like feline he'd dubbed "Snow" just because



And with another feline, this one see through. He took a page from his mates book and named it Geist



and with his newest pet, still in training, a black armored wolf named Carlisle



Yeah..between these two I have all four spirit beasts..did this on purpose to where each had two....what a rush it was to camp all four of them!

My main hunter Rhyela and some of her pets (I'll add the other two when it's not so late and I have time to take pics).

Rhyela and her #1 buddy, Apollyon. He was very strong-willed and she had to try very hard to convince him to be her companion. But now that they have bonded, nothing can separate Apollyon from his hunter. (Because she is his, )


Shikon is Rhyela's newest rare tame. I went through two spirit beasts before finally getting the one that I wanted to begin with. She's beauty and power combined, something to admire in the few seconds before she rips you to shreds. She is fiercely loyal to her master, though Rhyela doesn't like to think of any of her pets as "pets", they are her friends, partners, and companions.


And finally, this is Twinblade. He's the newest member of the group and is a little unsure of himself when he's surrounded by Rhyela's other companions. But when they're out questing together, he is confident and deadly. He looks tough on the outside, but inside he's a big love monster.
