Not even an hour after starting playing WoW again, my npc scanner goes off while I was doing the quests to get into the Molten front. I look down to see the white/green ghost kitty running below me. After three deaths Ankha was mine. Thank you WoW, it's nice to be back too. =3
Now my real target was Deth...I hate spiders with a passion but I wanted this one. It was a omgmusthave moment for me. I was tired the first night so I started my camp when I got up and after a friend helped me with a faction transfer(they REALLY wanted me). I had made friends with an orc and we stayed with me. Just before the restart I left with him to go look for the kitty I really wanted, Magria. BOOOM NPC scanner goes off as we leave the portal and there is the kitty running! My orc friend got to her first but died...So I gave it a shot.
He wasn't angry. I talked to him on a horde hunter I have. He wanted Skarr more anyways.
5 hours after I got Magria, Deth spawned. I was AKF because I was making food. I get back, I'm dead. I rez, rogue pops up and kills me again...I couldn't even rez. Deth got a lot of attention as a horde tried for her but...In the end no one got her. I was crushed. The rogue wouldn't even let me try and just laughed. Sad way to end the night. >=
The next morning I gathered some info, Deth had been tamed two hours before I got up and was tamed once after I went to bed. Doh. Solix was up so I called a hunter buddy and we tried for him...And failed. Oops. ><; Later that day I watched a hunter fail at Skitterflame too. No one was getting any of the spiders. Kirix spawned next and that was spider my friend really wanted! So I called her over and we try the hard way to get him...But a horde hunter and my orc buddy tamed him while we were failing..She almost had him too...So I got on my horde and chewed him out a bit for that. He did apologize though.
Few hours later when I was doing my rare rounds my NPC and Silverdragon go of. Karkin. Now whenever I go around someone has either Skarr or Karkin out so I didn't believe it was him...Until I clicked the image and it targeted the crab on the rock...Oh hi thar! So I ran over and tried to tame him and failed a few times. I don't play MM...I called over my hunter buddy and we both tired...And failed. At this point it was becoming I needed this crab because he was angering me. My hunter called over her mage friend and he switched to frost for silence.
Yes, I did have to make that joke.
So I spent the rest of the afternoon in fail battlegrounds and camping for Deth again. Just about 9:15pm est I was typing out to the mage that I was going to log to clear my catch and...Deth spawns RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME! I call for the mage to come over as I start to trap, slow, and send poor Magria in for suicidal missions. The mage comes over, invites my hunter friend and I have Deth at 40%...Then I start getting attacked! A horde hunter and shammy killed us and tried to steal Deth... Panicked I rushed back and rez, the mage took care of the shammy and we watched Deth kill the hunter(he ran off after since there was three of us now). We let her reset and with two hunters and a mage, we started over again. It took about 10 minutes to get her down low enough.
8 of the longest seconds of my life...
But in the end Deth was mine...Quiet a feat for a Horde heavy sever and at the end of peak hours.
