Looking for Motivation No More: HE'S MINE!

Some of you may remember this thread.
Well, rather than necro it I thought I'd make a new one in hopes of refreshing my desire to do this, since I'd taken a few months "break".

So far, no such thing.

I want to get back into camping Poseidus, but after all that happened, or didn't happen as the case may be, I just can't. But I still love the mount. My biggest problems are the timer on my router forcing me to log on late and log off early, friends either refusing to help or randomly leaving without a word and that I'm the type who has to check every spawn point.

I'm kinda hoping you guys could help motivate me somehow; tips, support... anything. I want this mount but I don't know how much longer I can bare this.

I know his spawn timer is 72-120 hours, commonly spawning around 96-110 time frame. And I heard a THEORY (It has been proven wrong before, but you never know.) that his timer resets on Tuesday maintnence and cannot spawn Tuesday or Wednesday. I personally doubt this is true but hey... It might help.

from all the research I've done (and a few dozen trusted campers) any reset even, or server maintenance, has reset his 72 hour no-spawn timer

This is actually very good info. I knew of the 72 hour mark but nothing after. If it's true that he can spawn the day after as well, that gives me another day to check Assuming he doesn't spawn during the night of course

What I did with my Poseidus camp was parked all 4 of my above 80 alts at each spawn location in vash'jir and stayed on my main at one location. Every Friday and Saturday I camped (helped a lot to find other things to do) and every 30 min to an hour I'd log onto my alts and check. It saved a lot of time than if I had just swam or flown between every spawn location, and knowing I basically had every spawn point covered, it helped me stay focused on the camp.

Keep an eye or Horde and Alliance AH. Someone might find him and sell him so if you see any new ones up there dont waste your time and try again next week (because finding him at the end of the week (monday) is very slim).

I thought the camp would be terrible but its not that bad! Just keep at it and he'll find his way to you eventually! God luck!!

I agree with Doomcookie, Poseidus camp is much much nicer to me. Reset/Maint / wait 72 hours from the last one, start camping. Difference between Poseidus and TLPD/Aeonaxx/Camel is there's no placeholder. It spawns. Just 5 spawn spots spread all over hell, that's all. When I have all 3 accounts turned on it's still kind of a pain, but that's why you have camper buddies to cover area.

Sadly he didn't show himself this time, so I'll assume he spawned during the night while I was offline. However I intend to go back and try each weekend to try my luck til I get him
