Silly to get sentimental about pets, perhaps...
But I still couldn't let this mage kill this Madexx because he thought it dropped a lot of gold. I directed him to WoWhead so he'd know it didn't drop epics and paid him 100g to not kill this guy. I tamed it because I don't have this color and it was just going to get murdered by a mage. I...felt sorry for it, I guess. I really do love the color of his eyes. Never noticed bronze Madexx had gold eyes. Here's a pic of me and Phai in Silithus, where I'm going to look at beetles.

My Erg did a happy claw dance when I showed him Phai's pic!

I was tempted to name him Nozdormu cuz he's bronze, but...Blizz prolly has that copyrighted.
Phai works great for him. He'll go perfect with my Alexander, a black devilsaur I love.
I'm starting to tame pets I like instead of just rares now, and I find that I'm much more attached to them.

Thats actually a good thing. You shouldn't feel you have to tame a pet cause its rare, but rather because you like them and enjoy their company. Rares are usually highly desirable cause many of them have unique appearances (And then they end up tamed more frequently than common beasts, thus making them feel less unique). But common pets desire love too! I have gotten very attached to many common skins... Yuni for example, is my yellow-orange shale spider and I love her to pieces. I could have tamed Jadefang, but Yuni is far more special to me and I just can't tame that rare shale spider because of it. And of course as I have said, I usually tame the rares if I like them, and ignore rares that I don't find appealing. I don't see anything wrong with that logic.Sarantha wrote:I was tempted to name him Nozdormu cuz he's bronze, but...Blizz prolly has that copyrighted.

I actually think Phai looks prettier than my green Madexx, whom I named Lostsoul because he...really seemed out of place and lost in the hot desert sands of Uldum. Haha.
Black devilsaur ALMOST looks better than Krush. They are about tied. I love the brilliant lime green Krush is, though.
