Karma really does pay off

Although I have semi-retired my BE hunter, I do still enjoy getting on to see what friends are up to.
I logged on tonight after picking up Poyegan on my new baby Draenei huntress (smiles).
I was already parked in Hyjal and saw a yellow blip run by, it was Anhka, so I started looking for a taker, but the only responses I got was "what is an anhka?" and when I explained it, they said "oh no thanks" and the other said "I have her, but thanks for asking!"
Anhka was tamed by someone shortly afterwards, though, so that was a happy ending.. but anyway.. the hunter whom already had her sent me a tell a few minutes later, "hey do you have Deth?" My reply was "omg no I do not and don't even get me started on that dumb spider, my luck with her is craptastic, I have had that thing stolen/killed FIVE times already.. me and Deth have a long disliking for each other, but thanks for asking lol".

The hunter insisted I come, telling me he will help me, and promises I will get Deth.
Ok reluctantly I came to the MF and released Anthriss by accident (stupid me, I meant to release duskstalker since my baby huntress has him now).. I am thinking at this point "I swear to God I better get that purple spider.. that's the SECOND time I have released the wrong damn pet out of nerves for Deth (yeah.. second time.. last time I released skitterflame by accident.. yes, I do fail..)

So I get to Deth and the "fun" begins, we both died when he was near tameable, but we just lol and try again, Deth gets tameable range and kills me cause I got to close and then kills the other hunter. We LOL again and run back, and here we go again... this time we did very well and get him in tame range, and....
He's mine now! After 5 failed attempts I finally got the last one I needed for the taming challenge pets!
I am a firm believer the pet Gods were kind to me since I helped with a Karkin yesterday.
Now he just needs a name!
Oh and here is the Skarr I picked up yesterday.. I named him Arakis and I am really starting to love this cat


I can now look forward to taming my fave rares again on my Draenei, and pick up a few I want, but just didn't have room to keep on Serahna

Oooh they look so pretty next to you! I especially how Arakis' eyes almost match your toon's hair ;D That was so sweet of the other hunter to help you out. Really makes it so much easier (and more fun, imo). Are you getting Anthriss restored?

I'll have to give that a try. I saw him up yesterday but just as I was about to pull him towards the lava, an alliance hunter put hunter's mark on him and attacked him and started killing him
I was really not happy so I logged out and took a walk, I hate hate HATE that server now.
It makes my stomach hurt to even log in to that server.

Anyway, my Skarr tame was actually pretty funny in a noob it up kind of way.
I had been camping him for I don't even know what reason, I never wanted him, swore I would never get him, thought he was ugly, ect. but some some reason, I just had this overwhelming urge to camp him.
After 5 days in a row of seeing Karkin pop, and only 1 Skarr (I logged in *right* as someone hit tame > silence > tame). I'm not a stealing kind of person, so I backed away and watched him go to a new home with a NE.
On my fifth day of camping, I logged in and got this immediate whisper "yeah don't even bother coming to Org, the alliance are doing FTA and they are slaughtering us." well far be it from me to give up the chance to defend the homeland, and thought "eh Skarr can wait" and warped to Org to help defend the city.
It took about 2 hours for everything to die down and the alliance backed off.

I headed back to MF and see a little red blip pacing back and forth, oh look there's Kirix..(hi Kirix!) then another little red blip appears.. I mouse over it and it says "Skarr" and it isn't moving! It's not a pet!
I quickly run into the flames in my best leeeerrroy fashion and promptly die..
I rez and healer and run back and I'm so excited I fall off the edge and die again trying to avoid the fire -.-

I rez again.. run back.. make it through the flames wave at Kirix along the way, and sure enough there is Skarr sitting there at the first rock looking lonely.
I /who to see if any hunters are around.. nada on horde side, but I am still 10m on rez sickness.
Do I risk it? Do I wait it out or just go for it??
I decide to risk it, I did tame Kirix rez sickened, so I know I can live...
So I tame > silence > tame he hits me with a fireball that nearly killed me, but I lived and he fell into place at my side. I was really excited and hit the space bar to jump for joy.. aaaannndd jumped right off the edge of the cliff -.-

I rez and die immediately from aggro from one of those druids of the flame.
I rez again, die again from aggro, rez and die again.. finally I managed to camouflage my way back to the safe area away from the spiders and flying druids.
The REALLY need to move that one spirit healer...

Over-all it was a hilarious tame and one I will never forget lol.
Oh and me and Skarr (Arakis) are best buddies now and he is now my favorite non-spirit beast.
