Pet Suggestions please :)

I can't remember the right part of the forum for this..I hope it's this one! I've been really hard at work on my Worgen hunter, Nick (shortened from his actual game name, Gamblernick) and I have only ever had one pet, my sabrecat, who was Shadowclaw, since lv13. I am at a loss for other pets that would fit with him, and would love ideas! (he's now lv83, almost 84)

He's beast master spec, so exotics are a-ok. Personality wise his slightly cool, anti-social, and finds it hard to trust new people he's never met, but when he does..watch out..there's no better guy to have on your side. Color doesn't matter either.

I've included a shot of him in case it's needed for any reason

For some reason Deth'tilac popped in my mind. Mostly because it seems to take so long to "win" him over. And once you do, friend for life!

I've always thought saber worgs look wonderful with worgens. They appear to be fierce loners, but at the same time appear loyal and would savagely defend their master.



A spirit beast may also fit your hunter. They seem to be mysterious creatures, back from the dead, who appear solely to defend those they love. (You could even keep them in spirit walk if you wanted to go with that description.)



A turtle would work too. They're shy little creatures. It would take a lot of time and trust to get them to "come out of their shell."

My first thought was an owl or eagle, perhaps? They are wise, wary hunters and seem like you would have to work to win them over.


A chimera perhaps? I always liked them. They seem like fierce pets to win over and good companions when you finally did.


I love the foxes. Clever, cunning, good humored (to counterbalance Nick perhaps?), and fast.


A rhino perhaps? Huge, powerful, and a bit short-tempered, but a fierce friend and defender?

I'm fond of the idea of a turtle, myself. The sounds they make remind me of a grumpy old man, all grumbles and growls and grunts. And as much as I love my Panzer, I've always felt the same way: the 'hard to get on with, but loyal to the end once you do'.

That's the one I'm presently using on my worgen - a really nice pet/race combo imo.
