Cats for an Undead Hunter.

Hello, Fellow hunters. I have a question for you all. I have an Undead Hunter whos lvl 35 at the moment and i need some suggestions for a cat pet. What cat would work with an Undead? I right now have tamed the Ghost Cat and Pogeyan but im not sure either fit well. So what do you guys suggest? All opinions welcome.

Hmmm, I think the Ghost Saber (which you have) would work, as well as…

You may actually want to consider this one. Since I first saw this model in the Ghostlands, I always associated it with the Undead. Plus, there is something "otherworldly" about its eyes... :O

Cats that would match with undead would be ghostly ones like your ghost saber, corrupt cats, or just dark colors cats. Some examples below.

Corrupt/cursed cats:
Other gem cats work too, but these are the best match due to being cursed offspring.

Dark color cats:


EDIT: Oh right, the Ghostpaw Lynxes in Ghostlands pengupuff mentioned above me are tainted by plague based on this quest, so they work as well.

personally i dont think anny brightly colored animals fits the undead theme(unless zombiefied with wounds and whatnot.)
The green cat is a bit bright imo but it still works as its so unatural lookin.
brown lynz cat i think would fit good, as well as humar.
The brown striped cats may fit well too.

I kinda agree with the green cat... bright colors don't work but I think even a bright green or purple would fit. Green is a color you find in the Undercity "water" so it kinda works. The green cat is the only one I am seeing with an undead at the moment. It has a corrupted feeling to it.

pengupuff has the right idea there, i was gonna say the tan lynx in ghostlands too. It has that subtle feel and color that just goes great with an undead theme.... almost undead like itself with the eyes and the subdued color.

For now, at level 35, I would go pick up Shadowclaw in Darkshore. Then once you level up a bit, I would go tame Duskfang in the Swamp of Sorrows or one the Frostsaber Stalkers in Winterspring. All of those cats would be a good fit in my opinion for an undead hunter.

It was mentioned before but I also think that Shadowclaw (rare) from Darkshore is a very good candidate. A nice dark skin with silver like stripes. very nice. And he's low level (13).

Just the fact that his actual name is Shadowclaw gives it also a bit a dark or slightly evilish feeling about it I think.
