Quest: Go Bearback

There is a quest in Storm Peaks: Going Bearback, where you mount a polar bear and throw some fiery things at the hodir giants and wolves. I don't have the resources to attempt this, but I wonder we could have a potential 'flaming white wolf' >.>

Has this been attempted?

im pretty sure that "buff/debuff" is on a timer that ticks a dot, if i remember correctly, it took more than 1 torch to kill some of the wolves, so i doubt it would work, but, im just about to start playing again, so i'll have my friend ride around and catch some on fire and see wat happens


dont wait on my results btw xD it will take awhile, but if it works, ill try my dardnest to find this thread, unless its been mythbusted before hand

One problem with this quest is getting phased to the area. You'll have to be at *exactly* the right phase to get there.

And I'm not sure if you would be able to 'run among' the wolves as they're being blasted by the polar bears. At the very least, you would need someone in the same phase as you who could do the 'polar bear running', since the area these wolves are in is part of what becomes the whole group of neutral giants when you do the Storm Peaks questlines.
