While browseeing for dekstops for my computer on http://www.desktopnexus.com, i found this lovely rendering of a werewolf, running wild on all 4

He looks like a worgen druid. Or at least how I would imagine them. The feathers and beads are really cool and makes me wonder if the drawer didn't have worgen druids or shaman on the mind when drawing that.

I know I'm not really one to talk about anatamoy and proportions, but am I the only one who thinks the front half is off? It just looks so front heavy, though that may its position, or it could be the intent.

yea, all of its paws except the one is off the ground and its running forward so all its weight is on that one foot

Not to mention these are werewolves, not regular wolves. If you look at their front paws, the "toes" are actually longer and more finger-like. The traditional werewolf is able to move around on two legs and has a torso resembling a human's. These seem to be more of a feral take on that idea.

I do like them.

Xakaal: The first one is fine, it's the second one that just...irks me. I dunno, but it just doesn't appeal to me. It looks strange.

nirvana: Put that way, I can see it justified. Regardless, it still looks off and strange to me. Guess I'm just not one for that style of werewolves--It looks...strange and disproportionate. The front legs just out weird, and they're way too long for the body itself. Makes me think gorilla, not wolfish.

I see what you mean about the second picture, Azu. I love the idea of more feral werewolves, but that one was designed very strangely. It looks like a perfectly normal wolf with furry human arms strapped to its shoulders, very off-putting. Maybe if it was more unified in being a hybrid?

It's still a lovely picture, though.
